Job Description:

Responsible for performing basic professional accounting and operational support activities of the plant Controlling organization.

Supervision of accounting activities performed may include: coordination, review of posting, accounts reconciliations, internal control procedures , auditing, statement and/or report preparation, account analysis, and production cost variance analysis.

To maintain link between the marketing area for the decisions of strategic planning of the Group.

To establish accounting procedures having coordination with accounting area.

To prepare financial operation reports for local and Corporate requirements.

ResumResponsibl for performing basic professional accounting and operational support activities of the plant Controlling organization.

Responsible for supervision for : annual std cost determination, develop cost standards based on annual budget. Maintain and establish standard costs within the SAP

Responsible for supervising the annual SAP cost standards process including coordination with production leadership and product engineers ensuring accurate and complete product cost standards are published in SAP for global COGS reporting. Support the preliminary cost guidance process used as a key input to regional COGS budgeting, as well as analyze impact of annual inventory revaluation (May) by brand ensuring proper internal management reporting.

Support to : Production area in supervision of production orders processes, Warehouse management , Logistics.

Responsible for preparing sufficient information for Production Process Variance Analysis report purposes .

To prepare and analyzing actual manufacturing costs, to present periodic reports comparing standard costs vs. actual production costs.

To advise on manufacturing methods based engineering design changes to determine the effect on production cost and profit.

Executing system routines to compile item costs and evaluate production costs

Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database in a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure that historical data is used for making analysis.

Provide improvement recommendations to management in cost estimation procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs

Analyze internal general ledger accounts to ensure accurate recording of transactions

To coordinate activities in monthly, quarterly, annual budget and supplemental forecasts.

Responsible in the preparation information for both, statutory and corporate annual audits

Implementing and monitoring standard work procedures for inventory reporting and product costing

Supervision of Cost Accounting System in SAP

To coordinate activities in preparation of information to cover SOX requirements.

Coordinate with Manager of Production Planning (Global Production Finance) on the Agave Liquidation Model program. This program is responsible for production planning and analysis used in determining long term agave sourcing needs.
