Brown-Forman National Key Account Specialist Off-Trade in Barcelona, Spain
The Key Account Manager’s overall objective is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with Brown Forman Spain (BFS)'s strategic objectives and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis.
Based within the country sales structure the National Key Account is responsible for the assigned national key customers. The role has accountability for the full scope of BFS's commercial interaction with the customer, ranging from the development of sales strategy per customer to the management of promotional activities. The role requires close cross functional interaction with trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics and finance.
Responsible for achieving strategic objectives per customer including volume, turnover and gross profit
Building long term partnership with the customer
Responsible for the promotional strategy per customer and promotional execution (including trade budget management pricing and space optimization)
Responsible for managing customer negotiations in relation to BFS's commercial strategy and the customer trading terms
Responsible for developing customer new product launch plans and ensuring successful implementation
Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories
Together with NAM set goals for the outsourced off trade team, follow up their performance and ensure flawless execution at the point of purchase
Must Experience & skills:
At least 5 years in KAM in FMC
We are looking for a person with proven ability and experience in the sales, marketing and promotion of fast-moving consumer goods
Good knowledge of off trade channel in Spain and proven strong relationship with key stakeholders of the top national customers.
Knowledge in technical and commercial management tools.
High experience in management and business development and / or business in multinational companies with complex distribution channels
Bachelor Degree in Business
Spanish fluency is a must
Advanced English speaking and writing skills
High availability to travel nationally (more than 50%)
Preferred Experience :
Knowledge of Finance, Trade Marketing, and business processes
Desirable multi-functional experience and /or geographic
Spirits Industry experience
