Brown-Forman Regional Key Account Specialist Off-Trade Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain

Job Description:


As the Regional Key Account your overall objective is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with Brown Forman Spain (BFS)’s strategic objectives, and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis.

Based within the country sales structure the Key Account Regional is responsible for a group of regional off trade customers. The role has accountability for the full scope of BF's commercial interaction with the customers, ranging from the development of sales strategy per customer to the management of promotional activities. The role requires close cross functional interaction with trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving strategic objectives per customer including volume, turnover and gross profit.

  • Building long term partnership with the customers and visit them on a regular basis.

  • Responsible for the promotional strategy per customer, and promotional execution (including trade budget management pricing and space optimization)

  • Responsible for managing customer negotiations in relation to BFS's commercial strategy and the customers trading terms

  • Responsible for developing customer new product launch plans and ensuring successful implementation

  • Continuous improvement in the management of the accounts by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories

  • Together with NAM set goals for the outsourced off trade team, follow up their performance and ensure flawless execution at the point of purchase

Must Experience & skills:

  • At least 4 years in key account management in FMCG

  • We are looking for a person with proven ability and experience in sales of fast-moving consumer goods company

  • Good knowledge of off trade Spain channel

  • Knowledge in technical and commercial management tools

  • High experience in management and business development and / or business in multinational companies with complex distribution channels

  • Bachelor Degree in Business

  • Spanish fluency is a must

  • Advanced English speaking and writing skills

  • Driving license

  • High availability to travel nationally (more than 50%)

Preferred Experience :

  • Knowledge of Finance, Trade Marketing, and business processes

  • Desirable multi-functional experience and /or geographic

  • Spirits Industry experience#ND 1 #BFlogo
