Brown-Forman Trade Marketing & Channel Development Manager Korea in Seoul,
To manage a trade marketing budget and develop a strategy that provides value-adding and effective ‘in outlet’ marketing delivered to the relevant channel whilst driving profitable & sustainable growth for the portfolio of brands which is based on brand vision and trade insights.
At the same time develop emerging and new channels in the on and off premises as steered by requirements of the local strategies formulated by the team to drive new sales and top line growth opportunities
Trade marketing budget management and POS development for all brands
Effectively work with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that strategies and directions are in full alignment
Analyze and appraise the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, and work with the sales teams to produce accurate sales/volume forecasts for promotions
Conduct regular market visits and compile monthly field sales on-premise activities and results, including the analysis of competitive activity in the field.
Open new channels opportunities for sales and increase relevance development with our current and future consumers
Assist on regional marketing needs and projects of adjacent markets from time to time and be able to share learnings from Korea to these markets, and vice versa
Attend customer meetings with relevant sales team leaders / sales reps to understand customer’s business, marketing strategies and work collaboratively to design customer specific promotions that will be mutually beneficial
Actively engage at the planning phase of annual marketing plans, to ensure that these plans are consistent with appropriate field sales implementation
Prepare draft trade marketing plans and liaise with sales team leaders on progressive phases of plan formulation
Participate quarterly sales meetings to introduce upcoming programs and train field team in how to promote effectively to customers with selling deck and trade brochure program
Contribute in agency briefings where trade marketing issues are key to success
Ensure that all trade marketing materials adhere to global brand standards and specificationsPrepare trade marketing support documentation for the field sales force that provides clear and effective information to aid brand building
Oversee the production of materials that are required to supplement trade marketing action – e.g. selling aids, brand education materials, POS/PPOS materials etc.
Work closely with National Sales Manager in planning and monitoring of POS/PPOS spent
Work with outside agency to ensure appropriate PG execution in each region
To assist ad-hoc tasks or preparation of reports as required from time to time
Qualifications & Requirements
University degree and above.
4+ years of Experience in the FMCG or liquor selling environment.
Experience in conducting promotional programs.
Ability to handle high volume and varied work load independently within established guidelines.
Ability to work flexible schedule, as needed.
Fluency in Korean and English
