Brown-Forman Brand and Business Insights Analyst (Maternity Leave Cover) in Hamburg, Germany

Job Description:

Scope:

The position is responsible for the analyses and reporting of Brown-Forman on- and off-trade activities in Germany as well as the generation of brand insights based on research for the German market. Aligned with the target to develop an excellent market, brand and business understanding within the Brown-Forman organization this position seeks to provide all market research information needed. For this reason it is essential to cooperate very close with Brand Marketing, Sales, Shopper-and -Trade Marketing, Finance and regional/BBI research resources.

Basic Function:

  • Responsible for the preparation and further development of the Brown Forman reporting based on retail and internal data in collaboration with Brand Marketing, Shopper Trademarketing, Finance and Sales Responsible for the execution of analyses regarding special Sales Brand Marketing and Business issues.

  • Identification of potentials for BF within existing brands, business needs, trends and new channels.

  • Participates in relevant Marketing and Sales meetings

  • Evaluation and Recommendation of research methods and market research institutions

Coordination and execution of market research studies

R esponsibility:

  • Retail Tracking / Sales and Brand research support, 40%

  • Building relationships with key internal and external partners, 20%

  • Coordination of Brand Researches with regional, 40%

Must Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or trained market research manager

  • At least 2 years experience with Off- and On-Trade channel and market research

  • FMCG experience

Pr eferred Experience:

  • Major in Marketing or Sales

  • Market Research experience

  • Good knowledge of Off- and On-Trade channel & customers

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Excellent Office and Research IT Tools skills

Skills:

  • Good English and German speaking and writing

  • MS Office applications

  • IT literate, relevant Nielsen, IRI, GfK research applications, Drotax and SAP

  • Market (German retail) knowledge

  • Time management

  • Strategic skills

  • Analytic and planning skills

  • Project Management
