Senior HR Manager – temporary contract July to November
Position Scope : This role reports primarily to the VP HR Director and partners with Country Managers and Sales Managers/Directors across Asia (excluding China) Serving as an influential and strategic HR business partner primarily to Sales and Country leaders but also to Regional business leaders and teams and manage the day to day HR processes across geographies, collaborating with Global HR teams and functional leaders. This roles sits on the HR ANZPI/Asia Leadership Team and attends meetings via video conferencing where required.
Facilitate the execution of business strategies through people and organizational development. Ensure the business goals, objectives and initiatives are supported through the execution of HR strategies, policies and procedures.
Acts as an HR business partner to allocated geographical stakeholders: facilitating selected meetings to achieve HR objectives, providing sound counsel and enablement to employees, representing the HR function across stakeholders and within the HR community to work towards its objectives, and actively championing the diversity, fulfillment, engagement and retention of stakeholders in partner functions.
Manages the employee relations function by utilizing prior knowledge and experience in HR coaching and counseling for employee relations, conflict resolution and organizational development.
Supports Region performance management activities, overseeing and monitoring the employee development plan process; providing counsel to managers and employees on the performance management process including: coordinating and overseeing the implementation of employee performance plans; and, managing the process to a mutually-beneficial end for all involved.
Excellent presentation skills: proven ability to influence via great facilitation and coaching.
Excellent Communications: Proven ability to communicate information and ideas to others in an effective manner. The ability to comprehend and understand new information. The ability to establish vehicles, structures and processes for open exchange of information.
Developing, managing and leveraging relationships: Understands and demonstrates awareness of the inter-relatedness of different functions within the organization. The ability to naturally encourage others and move the team or group toward the organizational goals. Excellent collaboration throughout the organization. In alignment with the HR Director, the ability to make decisions in the field.
Knowledge of HR functions and Processes: Both internal to the organization and the HR profession. Provide an understanding of the HR profession and legal ramifications of non-compliance. Communicate best practices that internally/externally are being utilized for success.
BA in business or related field
6+ years HR Generalist experience with proven planning, reporting and presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Corporate and Region management, as well as all employees (sales/marketing/hr)
Ability to travel 10%
MBA or Masters Degree in HR
