Job Description:

Scope of Position:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting matters in timely and accurate manner

  • Manage administration of the country operation with supervision of Finance Manager

  • Assist in preparation of monthly management reports (including P&L and GL reconciliations)

  • Assist in preparation of Annual Financial Statements, Tax Return and Budgets

Responsibilities – Financial

Daily and monthly

  • Prepare vouchers for vendor payments and expense reports

  • Prepare the payment record in e-banking

  • Assist in preparation of Monthly P&L as per timetables.

  • SG&A reporting and contact point for SG&A queries

  • Generate weekly / monthly depletions / inventory reports

  • Coordinate payroll of BF Japan LLC with third party provider.


  • Assist with SG&A Projection preparation and reporting

  • Assist in A&P and rebate Reconciliation


  • Budgets – assist with preparation of budgets and input into COGNOS.

  • Assist in Tax Return – preparation, review with the accounting firm

  • Other Ad Hoc

Responsibilities – Office Facilities & Support

  • Manage all office facilities, supplies and equipment

  • Liaise with building management on the upkeep of office areas

  • First point of contact for TSG in Louisville(HQ) and manage acquisition of new technology hardware.

  • Receive guests visiting the office as required

  • Provide translation assistance to Japanese field team when working with HQ requests.

  • Plan and manage meetings of visiting company executives

Qualifications & Requirements

Must Requirements:

  • Accounting qualifications (Nissho Book-keeping 2 nd Grade)

  • 3-5 yrs experience in a similar role

  • Ability to work under constant deadlines

  • Superior oral and written communications skills –English

Preferred Requirements:

  • Excellent PC skills in Excel

  • Experience in the FMCG or liquor industry

  • Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting software

  • Knowledge of Yayoi Kaikei or similar accounting software

  • HR, IT and Admin. experiences
