Job Description:

Scope of Position:

  • To support the commercial needs of B-FA by ensuring inventory cover is in line with agreed target levels.

  • Select the optimum mode of transport for interstate shipments/transfers to minimize cost per case.

  • Ensure on-time, in-full supply of Finished Goods and WIP Materials sourced internationally and locally.

Planning and Inventory control

  • Manage national stock levels within agreed targets. Review inventory cover bi-annually.

  • Liaise with 3PL and warehousing with regards to expediting containers and airfreight.

  • Ensure all imported and locally manufactured PO’s are closed by month end.

  • Schedule container loads within mandatory road limit weight restrictions.

  • Production scheduling for locally manufactured RTD’s and RTS.

  • Select road/rail for interstate stock transfers managing movements to keep costs within budget.

  • Order base stock and liaise with Inventory to ensure on time delivery of locally co-packed Gift Packs and Job Lots.

  • Review SOH by Expiry date requesting fresh production for short coded stock.

  • Active participant in forecast review meetings – question/challenge volume demand.

  • Publish Demand & Supply metrics for Global Statistics.

  • Document processes and procedures.

  • Build enduring relationships with in-house and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Excellent numeric skills

  • Route cause analysis and problem solving ability

  • Strong analytical background

  • Interest in self and team development

Preferred Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification – Undergraduate or Post Graduate

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • SAP / APO & SNP

  • FMCG Background
