Job Description:

Scope:

To achieve sales and distribution objectives through executing brand building activity, sales targets and brand education for Off-Trade customers, as well as ensuring the best position on the market for the Brown-Forman brands. This position works closely and under supervision of Regional Off-Trade Sales Force Manager.

Basic Function:

  • Achieves appointed sales targets, distribution and visibility objectives

  • Implementing and evaluating of promotional activities

  • Executing specific secondary placement targets per brand

  • Regular and systematic customer visits according to work plan and customer coverage

  • Builds excellent relationship with customers on all levels within business environment

  • Ensures optimum stock level/Merchandising within all covered/serviced customers

  • Collects and updates information about customers and competitors activities

  • Conducts brand trainings for trade partners – under supervision

  • Responsible for managing POSM placement at customer place

  • Accurate reporting on the Mobile Reporting System/CRM tool

Responsibilities:

  • Customer: Selling and generate secondary placements achieve sales targets, 35%

  • Enlarge product visibility at retail shelf (Product facings)10%

  • Implementing, executing and evaluating of promo activities, 30%

  • Reporting, 15%

  • Trade brand education (Off-Trade: Brand Ambassador) 10%

Must Experience:

  • Apprenticeship program in a commercial profession

  • Secondary education (Industriekaufmann, Einzelhandelskaufmann)

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Sound knowledge of MS office software, namely word, excel and power point, SAP or similar systems

  • Affinity to numbers, basic Marketing knowledge and interest in the business context/organization

  • Sound knowledge of the off trade structure generally and in his specific region

  • Knowledge of the contact persons / opinion leader of the most important trading partner of his region

  • Very good communication skills, sense of responsibility

  • Likes and knows how to organize, can take heavy workload, highly motivated

  • Customer orientation and flexibility

  • Very good sales experience

  • Good English speaking skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 2 years field sales experience in FMCG (basic market knowledge)

Skills:

  • Basic IT literate

  • Driving License

  • Presentation skills
