Brown-Forman Supply Chain Manager Asia/ANZPI (Hong Kong or Singapore)_ in TBD, Hong Kong
Develop and initiate improvements in Supply Chain activities and performance in Asia/ANZPI, primarily through collaboration with local/area/regional business owners and coordination with global supply chain staff. Regional supply chain functional responsibility with 6 reports. This role can be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong.
In cooperation with Asia/ANZPI regions’ leadership, define market needs and align with corporate supply chain long-term vision and strategy, related to:
Supply Chain functional oversight of BF’s forward-integrated distribution markets in conjunction with the respective country’s management teams
Systems and processes
Effective and consistent measures and controls
Hiring, training and development of B-F’s local Supply Chain personnel.
Participate in operational implementation of new RTC transitions in close cooperation with the Director of RTC Strategy and regional business owners.
Lead establishment of RTC Supply Chain Operations and Organizations.
Lead third party logistics provider solicitation, evaluation, selection and contracting and orchestrate all B-F stake holders throughout the process, such as; Finance, Risk Management, Legal, General Management, and IT
Partner with country general and finance management as well as HR in recruiting, hiring, on-boarding in-market supply chain management.
Continuously support markets supply chain organizations and act as escalation entity for dispute resolution with internal and/or external
Liaison for Asia/ANZPI between corporate, region, and distributor personnel on in-market supply chain operational matters:
Identify regional supply chain issues and work with appropriate BF Supply Chain personnel to achieve resolution and minimization of future occurrences
Lead supply chain improvement initiatives, in alignment with corporate strategies and processes
Inform/advise/alert SCI SKU Processes personnel of upcoming changes in labeling requirements, local legislation, etc.
Advance package and/or label changes, new product launches, SKU rationalization processes
Primary contact and supply chain business partner for regional and area management teams to identify regional supply chain issues and direct appropriate local supply chain teams and/or Corporate Supply Chain Integration personnel to achieve resolution and minimization of future occurrences whenever possible.
Develop robust demand and inventory visibility processes:
Lead sell-in and assist with start-up of S&OP processes in priority markets. Engage as requested in on-going process
Monitor supply chain inventory levels across multiple locations and ensure appropriate replenishment orders from production facilities.
Provide consolidated view of VAP / repack demand within the Asia/ANZPI regions and recommended sourcing (in-market, regional, or global)
Provide Demand/Supply Planning support as required in designated markets. Work with demand planning to ensure projections reflect commercial needs, appropriate stock is produced and any issues communicated to the appropriate parties.
Prepare monthly report of focus markets’ supply chain performance; including BF in bound supply and supply chain health indicators (KPI’s), consistent with corporate standards.
Liaise within the region to improve and advance supply chain knowledge and understanding:
Build Supply Chain partnership with key region commercial colleagues
Train in-market personnel, BF and distributor, in key supply chain processes.
Develop strategies and measures to advance the regions’ supply chain staff development.
Promote and advance cross-organizational awareness of BF’s supply chain principles, policies, practices, and value
Other projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, plus 5 – 10 year experience in international supply chain management activities; with experience in two or more functional areas
Proven leadership ability
Strong communicator who can organize and use information effectively
Collaborative approach to working with others to achieve mutually beneficial objectives
Long-term strategic business focus and understanding, coupled with the ability to make recommendations regarding difficult, complex strategic decisions
Manages progress across multiple conflicting/interdependent initiatives and resources
Applies business process knowledge in defining initiatives’ scope, gaps, issues and opportunities
Fluent in English
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree
Extensive cross cultural experience
