Brown-Forman Portfolio Brand Manager, Hungary in TBD, Hungary
This role is responsible to formulate and drive the strategic development and execution of B-F brand strategies and portfolio development to ensure long term profitable growth.
It develops and executes brand plans based on solid consumer insight, market analysis, and evaluation of competitor performance in close cooperation with the local distributor partners.
It will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, including the regional and global brand teams, as well as agencies (BTL/media/research) and /other service providers in order to streamline the process of brand management within Hungary
Portfolio Brand Manager is the key representative of the assigned portfolio (primarily Jack Daniel’s FOB, Finlandia Vodka, Tequilas) both within and outside the company.
To support Marketing Manager EECCA and the Area Manager Hungary&Slovakia in the development of the ‘strategic vision’ for all brands, their consumer positioning/concept, the investment mix/budget debate and their place in the portfolio;
Prepare and implement long-term strategies in alignment with key stakeholders;
Lead the preparation of yearly brand plans – agreeing the strategy, aligning the objectives between BF & distributor-partners, alignment the final plans with key stakeholders;
Cooperation and alignment with regional and Global brand teams;
A&P budget execution & supervision;
Champion brand plan execution based on agreed programs;
Cooperate and manage local partner agencies to ensure best plans execution;
Build on-going communication and work with the distributor team to successfully implement the Channel and BTL strategies;
Build excellent relationship with distributor-partners to ensure high collaboration, on-time execution and achievement of established KPIs;
Be a brand ambassador for assigned portfolio, train partners and other stakeholders on categories/products, identify and implement training/training tools necessary;
Become the ‘local expert’ for market place and BF brands, complement with deep business analysis, market & consumer knowledge enhancement
Identify and initiate research where and when appropriate for deeper brand/consumer understanding, together with new projects/ideas and recommend necessary changes to brand plans
Education: University Degree in Marketing, management, or similar discipline;
Experience: 6-7 years’ experience in FMCG, preferably spirits/beer/beverages, luxury products
Strong planning and ability to manage priorities
Brand building skills with strong market knowledge
