Brown-Forman Truck Driver/Warehouse Operator in Versailles, Kentucky

Job Description:

Basic Function: Support the operations associated with entering and removing barrels from warehouses, including driving trucks and tractors to transport trailers, palletizing and dumping barrels and processing liquid. Will operate a forklift or truck; may cut whiskey tanks and record information in accordance with operating procedures. Inventory management responsibilities including but not limited to accurately logging inventory movements and executing cycle counts. Will fill and store barrels per guidelines. Will select and transport aged barrels between various sites.

  • Performs tasks associated with moving barrels between sites, including barrel loading and unloading, as well as entering and removing barrels from warehouses;

  • Performs general sanitation duties and other tasks as assigned and job conditions required.

Must Requirements

  • Applicant must have an updated written portion of the CDL certification.

  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (add, multiply, subtract, etc.)

  • Ability to do frequent walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching upward/downward, crouching, and ascending/descending stairs/ramps/ ladders.

  • Ability to push and pull over 100 lbs.

  • Ability to enter tight and restricted areas.

  • Exposure to the following conditions: cold, heat, etc.

  • Must wear steel toed safety shoes - no exceptions

  • Strong attendance.

  • Positive evaluations

  • All training & paperwork must be up-to-date

  • Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license; annual checks on driver’s license.

  • Computer skills – Word, Excel, etc.

Preferred Experience

  • HazMat endorsement

  • Supervisory or leadership experience
