Brown-Forman Marketing Specialist - Finlandia Vodka (MAT COVER 6 months) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Why does this position exist?

This position is about being part of the Global Finlandia team, managing and leading Finlandia Vodka, Finlandia Flavours & Finlandia Botanical - a premium global Vodka brand.

The key responsibilities of this role are to support the GMM Finlandia in the long-term strategy implementation for Finlandia, being in close contact with market brand teams to ensure deep market understanding and assisting with planning and development of the initiatives according to the collected insights.

The GMS is responsible to assist and shadow GMM with the specific global and local projects management, including packaging, design, toolkits development and Global PR & communication activities.

The GMS is responsible to support GMM Finlandia as a thought partner in the areas of brand advocacy/education, internal engagement and implementation of Homeplace activities. The GMS is an essential team player with responsibilities that cross global brand and local market teams.

What does this job need to make sure gets done?

  • Support on the global Finlandia strategy implementation

  • Support in oversight of Finlandia business performance for the key markets

  • Collaboration with the key Finlandia markets

  • Delivery and management of market specific creative assets & tools

  • Support of packaging project for Finlandia

  • Support on new products rollout for Finlandia

  • Cooperation with Finlandia production and B-F design teams

  • Cooperation with external partners and agencies to ensure consistent and compliant use of Finlandia visual identity across all developed assets and tools

  • Support in the areas of brand advocacy/education, internal engagement and implementation of Homeplace activities

  • Finlandia global home office budget management

  • Influencing the cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and meet critical deadlines

How much travel is required?

This role requires about 10-15% travel

This role gives the opportunity to learn and practice brand management skills on the global level, participate in the global brand strategy development, as well as to be part of the global product packaging & innovation projects. The GMS will obtain skills of working with cross-functional and regional teams, as well as external partners and agencies. This role also provides the opportunity to obtain knowledge related to global communications and global product packaging development.
