Brown-Forman E-Premise Account Manager - East Region in Atlanta, Georgia

This position will be remote; however, we would prefer that candidates be located with-in the East region.

What You Will Do in This Role :

Lead the ePremise (eCommerce) strategic direction within the Region, including the exploration and development of Brown-Forman business and brands in the ePremise space of regional omnichannel, supporting Chain Account Manager’s (CAMs); identifying and evaluating regional/local eTailers, delivery apps and other emerging intermediaries. Lead & coordinate all aspects of account management for key regional partnerships and distributor B2B eCommerce platforms. Support national activation including Drizly and Reserve Bar, at a local level including brand programming, promotional planning, field sales connections, evaluation, and distribution execution. Support ePremise education and capability development within the region.

What You Will Experience :

Strategic Direction, Account & Distributor Management

  • Responsible for overall account direction by assuming a leadership role for strategy, relationships, communication, collaboration and coordination of account channel resources and goals at a Regional level

  • Present annual business plan and review to account and B-F regional and ePremise leadership teams, coordinating all cross-function support

  • Own and manage associated budgets to provide business solutions to achieve annual plan goals

  • Ensure alignment/buy-in with Region stakeholders: General Manager’s, State Teams, etc.

  • Responsible for Regional call points as well as supporting local sales and marketing operations throughout the region; coordinating programming, pricing and execution with each market and distributor partner

  • Lead partnership with Distributor ePremise team to drive best in class execution of our ePremise strategy for the region: close distribution gaps, ensure B2B presence; including leading the monthly/quarterly planning meetings.

  • Create customer-focused win-win initiatives that enhance B-F and customer relationship and profitability

  • Collaborate with respective B-F stakeholders on programming, pricing and execution for the account

  • Understands and contributes to the overall ePremise strategy while responsible for supporting ePremise activities for Brown-Forman’s portfolio in the Region’s top-performing Chain Retail Accounts.

  • Collaborates with eTail National Account Manager on programming, pricing and execution for eTailer Accounts within the region. Responsible for developing regionalized customer-focused win-win programming and initiatives that enhance BF relationships, market positioning, and profitability.

Planning and Analysis

  • Partner with Business Analyst to coordinate programming metrics, complete the post-program analysis, and provide support for future customer meetings

  • Build Distributor cadence to ensure distributions meet expectations

  • Monitor and measure account-level performance for KPIs. Conduct annual channel and customer business review with key stakeholders

Communication & Collaboration

  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Region Marketing teams and brand teams in the development of relevant programming based on brand plan objectives

  • Engage Region Chain and Operations Managers in the execution of national and regional customer programs and alignment with local account execution

  • Maintain communication link with key personnel regarding account programming, pricing and strategy

  • Provide feedback to Customer Marketing, Regions and Brand leadership regarding planning, programming, content and competitive intelligence

  • Provides bi-annual customer overview for brand teams

  • Collaborate with other ePremise segments to meet the needs of overarching ePremise strategic pillars

  • Partner with Field Marketing Managers, Omnichannel ePremise Manager & Chain Account Managers to lead the strategy digital shopper marketing plan for each customer within the retail environment and through key media platforms

  • Work closely with Regional Account & Marketing leadership to define Brand and Customer’s roadmap and to define product & marketing enhancements for key Chain Accounts eCommerce Platforms

  • Partner with national digital/ePremise stakeholders to ensure Brown-Forman’s portfolio is accurately showcased on regional retailer’s sites

  • Create strategic account-specific digital marketing plans to drive Brown-Forman’s profitability, sales, and brand equity

What Exactly Are We Looking For ?

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 7-9 years sales or marketing experience; or 13+ years of relevant experience

  • Customer/Retailer management experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of extended brand teams

  • PC proficient in Google Products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

  • Demonstrated ability to create, control, and maintain financial and/or business analyses, including budgets

  • Team player: Able to put the needs of the overall Brown-Forman business above the specific needs of the territory or team

  • Seeks out opportunities to collaborate with leaders in other channels and territories. Keeps relevant parties informed of activity and seek similar behavior from the area team

  • Excellent strategic and tactical skills; demonstrated ability to implement and adapt national programs to the field

  • Sound financial skills: Experience in building and managing a budget

  • Positive attitude with a business growth mindset

  • Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time
