Meaningful Work From Day One

The Production and Logistics Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of a newly acquired emerging brand. The position is responsible for the regular planning cycle of demand planning, production planning and materials management to ensure the business delivers in full and on time to customers.

What you can expect

Operations

  • Monitor all demand, supply & purchasing weekly, resolving issues as they arise

  • Run monthly production planning

  • Maintain accuracy of planning & operations files at all times

  • Identify cost savings & efficiencies in all purchasing & planning processes

  • Monitor and communicate BBDs across all inventory locations

  • Supply products to events to support activity by the brand team & Distributor

  • Manage the introduction of new artwork execution for packaging as required

Demand Planning

  • Prepare demand forecast monthly

  • Relationship with distributor data team to get data for demand forecast

  • Develop robust working relationship with distributor brand manager

Supply Planning

  • Develop working relationship with contract packers

  • Monthly review with contract packers

  • Freight arrangement of finished goods to distributor warehouse

  • Day to day inventory management as required

Materials Planning

  • Purchasing as required for all packaging & ingredients

  • Day to day relationship management with all P&I suppliers

  • Monthly review with suppliers

  • Assist with sourcing of raw materials for NPD

  • Source alternative suppliers as required

General administration

  • Complaints & quality management

  • Merchandise: pick & pack orders, replenish as required, deal with enquiries

  • Management of POS and event collateral assets

Your profile

  • Degree qualification or equivalent

  • 3-4 years minimum experience within logistics / production / supply chain

  • Experience within Food & Beverage or Consumer industry

  • Strong account management skills

  • Ability to develop robust working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Solid experience across all planning activities

  • Ability to work autonomously, with strong attention to detail and time management

  • Flexibility on work location (combination of remote and working within distributor / company offices weekly)
