What You Can Expect
Assumes leadership role in developing and implementing key on-premise customer initiatives.
Creates customer focused win-win programming that enhances B-F and customer profitability.
Establishes positive customer rapport at all levels within key accounts and all on-premise accounts.
Works to develop on-premise brand building plans that are successfully executed through the distributor/broker network.
Champions the on-premise effort in winning at the point of purchase, by building lasting trade relationships and regularly working unusual hours, including late nights and weekends.
Plays an integral role in conducting business performance reviews in accordance with achieving plans.
Manages the execution of National/Regional programming through distributor account teams.
Collaborates with multiple regional contacts, including sales, finance, field marketing and brand teams.
Connects with multiple external contacts, including the distributor, broker, licensee owner/managers, bartenders, wait staff, promotion agencies, trade groups, guilds and consumers.
We Are Looking For People Who
Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years industry experience and/or 4 years sales experience in a consumer products industry.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with distributor, broker, accounts and all internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated strong coaching and sales training skills
Demonstrated knowledge of on-premise business and three-tier distribution system
Able to put the needs of the overall Brown-Forman business above the specific needs of the cluster or team. Seeks out opportunities to collaborate with leaders in other channels and territories. Keeps relevant parties informed of activity and seeks similar behavior from the area team.
Proficient across multiple technology systems and platforms, including Google suite programs (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail, etc.), Excel and Power Point.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Physically able to lift 60 pounds.
