Job Description:

Scope of Position:

• To lead and champion the growth of the Jack Daniels and Developing Brands Portfolio in


• Analysis of available data sources to build consumer and category insights

• To articulate strategic vision for brands supported by insights

• Development of Brand plans for assigned brands in consultation with Marketing Director

• Education of internal and external customers – providing solid brand and category

information in relation to brand knowledge, insights and global market success, and provide

assistance in all training needs

• Lead execution of brand plans and local activity

• P&L responsibility (including A&P spend within guidelines)

• Be the contact person to the sales team and/or external parties for brand support and

guidance on brand promotion, planning and brand knowledge

• Ensure accurate and timely reports are submitted

insights that underpin brand strategies

• Lead Strategy & Ideation work for assigned brands ahead of building Brand plans

• Lead development of Brand Plans, in consultation with Marketing Director and Sales team

• Develop strong relationships with BF and trade to ensure all field based activities are

executed with excellence

• Prepare and deliver product/brand presentations and proposals

• Assist the Market Manager in preparation for associated reporting

• Continuously update and maintain all information requirements within internal reporting


• Liaise with agency partners in the design and production of marketing communications


• Responsible for designing of POS and related materials to support brand planning and


• Be responsible for managing the Brand P&L’s (tracking A&P within budgeted guidelines)

Qualifications & Requirements

Must Requirements:

• University BA degree, Masters degree an advantage

• Excellent communication skills and proven track of record of building solid working


• Marketing or related tertiary qualification

• Strong computer skills such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Demonstrated ability to drive processes and outcomes

• Strong time management and ability to work with tight deadlines

• Superior oral and written communication skills – Thai and English

• Must be bilingual

• Prior liquor industry experience

• Be a key part of the Thailand leadership team to determine the 3-5 year strategy and build

a portfolio plan that would support that

• Integral part of the regional marketing organization - sharing best practice across markets

and regularly interacting with marketers from other markets

Preferred Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years brand management experience and in a consumer or alcohol industry

marketing environment at Brand Manager level or higher.
