The overall responsibility of the role is to develop and assure the implementation and well execution of the brand plans for Brown-Forman portfolio in Colombia, with focus on Jack Daniel´s Family of Brands. The role is responsible for the execution of the brand plans, overseeing the correct implementation in every touchpoint, in time and according to the resources allocated to them.
The role collaborates with multiple internal stakeholders and involves closely working with Global Wines & Spirits distributor´s Marketing and commercial team to ensure best-in-class execution and evaluation of local marketing activities.
Reports directly to the South of Latin America (SouLA) Senior Marketing Manager and strongly collaborates with Colombia Area Manager. Must be aligned and follow strategic direction from the company and the market.

Execute Marketing Brand Plans
Supports and collaborates on the planning process of annual brand plans, with the strategic direction of the Senior Marketing Manager and aligns with the market business plan.
Leads and assures the implementation and execution of the initiatives defined in the activity calendar. Highly involved in trade execution.
Defines and establishes metrics and KPIs for each marketing initiative.
Assures alignment and communication among key B-F and local stakeholders, such as local agencies, B-F Digital & Legal, Brown-Forman Digital Team, among others. Responsible for mandatory approvals for local marketing initiatives.
Ensures all marketing and brand activities are compliant with brand guidelines, B-F Marketing Codes and local regulations.
Evaluates and recommend current and future opportunities in the market; collaborate in providing market specific category and consumer insights.
Identifies critical tasks and resources necessary to achieve desired objectives; takes action to ensure outstanding execution.
Marketing and Brand Development
Works closely with Senior Marketing Manager and Colombia Area Manager to implement global and local strategies.
Aligns all Marketing activities to the Business plan and objectives, collaborating directly with Colombia Area Manager (Channel and Geographic Strategies). Must acquire knowledge and understanding about every trade channel and its execution´s opportunities and challenges.
Collaborates on tracking and controlling A&P budget.
Ensures the distributor´s execution of marketing activities is done consistently with marketing plans, brand strategies and Brown-Forman Compliance.
Constant and fluent relations with local agencies (Media, Creative, Digital, BTL, PR). Agency monitoring, in order to meet required timelines and brief specifications.
Promotes and leads measurement processes of main marketing activities. Establishes metrics (KPIs) and reports.
Personnel Management and Development
Works closely on a day-to-day basis with distributor Brand & Product managers.
Builds powerful, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
Trains and provides support for local stakeholders (Distributor´s team; agencies, etc).
Ability to interact with all distributor personnel, from owner to field salespeople.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Marketing.
8 or more years of marketing and commercial experience.
Commercial experience in the FMCG industry.
Experience with Distributors and international companies.
Alcohol beverage industry experience.
Background in consumer goods with commercial/business knowledge.
Experience and knowledge in the Colombian market.
Basic portfolio management experience and financial skills.
Agency partnership experience.
Experience in marketing campaign development and Trade Marketing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication (verbal and written).
High computer literacy.
Willing to travel across Colombia and potentially internationally – approximately 20% of the time.
