Brown-Forman Key Account Manager Off-Trade in Brussels, Belgium
Meaningful Work From Day One:
To achieve sales, profit and distribution objectives through the execution of brand building activity and brand education within the best trade terms negotiation Off-Trade customer’s universe, specifically in strategic accounts. As well as ensuring the best position on the market for the Brown-Forman premium brands in the respect of the budget. This position works closely with and under the supervision of the National Customers Manager
What You Can Expect:
Achieves appointed sales targets, distribution, profit and visibility objectives in assigned customer accounts in the respect of budget.
Evaluating current customer structure and building database in sales reporting system.
Negotiations with Off Trade chains purchase departments.
Leads annual negotiation of trade terms and achieves ´win-win´ agreements with Key Accounts.
Developing and negotiating, in close relations with the CM, promotion plans with customers (chain purchase departments).
Develops execution plans on customer level to be executed by the responsible sales rep.
Planning and evaluating Marketing and Sales Budget in cooperation with marketing / trade marketing/ CM functions.
In close relations with sales area manager, achieves appointed sales targets, distribution, profit and visibility objectives in assigned Regional Off trade customer accounts
Implementation and evaluation of promotional activities on chain central level
Regular and systematic customer visits according to work plan and customer coverage.
In close relations with the Finance and Sales Director, manage the budget of allowances/rebates.
In close relations with Category Manager, manage the NIP budget.
Build excellent relationships with customers on all levels within the business environment in daily business in close collaboration with National Field Sales Mgr, Area Sales Managers Off-Trade and Off-Trade sales reps.
Cooperates with Finance, Area Sales Managers and Brand Managers, Trade Marketing for planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure integration of the B-F brands’ strategies into Off-Trade channel strategy
Communicates channel’s vision and provides strategic input to other departments in the company
Collects and updates information about competitors’ activities.
Continuously improves relationships with key accounts, executing regular and systematic trade visits to main customers in order to diversify the list of strategic contacts
Plans and Conducts brand trainings for trade partners in cooperation with brand training specialists in the respect of drink responsibility
Reporting on the Mobile Reporting System.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelors Degree of Equivalent experience
Previous negotiation experience with Off trade national accounts.
Great communication skills
Knowledge of IT literate, MS Office application
Fluent language English and Flemish
What makes you unique:
Very good knowledge of the Belgian retail environment, ideally with some years of significant off-trade FMCG experience
Several years of experience in customer direct cooperation and management
