Job Description:

Job Summary:

SCOPE OF THE POSITION:

  • Assists the Processing Specialist (liqueur production, purchasing of raw material, quality, documentation, Health and Safety).

  • Back up for the Processing Specialist during his absence

Job Responsibilities:

Liqueur Production - 35%

• Assist the Processing Specialist in the following tasks:

o Assemblies of fruit and requesting delivering of said fruit from third party warehouse

o Loading infusion tanks with alcohol and fruit

o Loading of press with macerated fruit / Press the macerated fruit

o Preparing intermediate products (pre-mixes, extracts)

o Producing and filtering the liqueur

Purchasing - 15%

• Assist the Processing Specialist in the following tasks:

o Based on the current forecast, helps define needs of raw material and issues Purchase Orders

o Contacts suppliers and arrange delivery dates

o Receives the products

o Performs monthly inventory of the processing area

Control/Quality - 15%

• Assist the Processing Specialist in the following Quality tasks:

o Controls the quality related to the raw materials, Work in Process and Liqueur

o Maintains records

o Back up Quality Specialist during her/his absence

Documentation - 15%

• At each production stage, and under the supervision of the Processing Specialist, fills in the fabrication sheets in order to ensure the traceability of ingredients

• Updates inventories

• Back up to the Processing Specialist in tasks related to the alcohol log book (customs requirement)

Health, Safety, Environment - 20%

• Respects instructions related to HSE and to the ATEX area

• Under the supervision of the Processing Specialist, performs the cleaning of tanks and tools

• Maintains a perfect cleanliness of the premises

• Helps in operating and monitoring effluent plant (spraying in fields)

Required Experience & Education:

Experience:

• Ability to perform heavy handlings (loading fruit)

• forklift operator license

• Ability to perform complex procedures

• Sensory ability to evaluate productions

• Diploma : BTS food, chemistry, or similar
