Brown-Forman Warehouse & Processing Manager in Collingwood, Canada
Plans and leads the activities of the warehouse which also includes shipping, receiving and blending. Ensures that the site is in compliance with local Safety Regulations and corporate safety requirements. Leads the site TPM Safety Pillar.
Manages the daily operations of the warehouse and blending department. Schedules production of blending ingredients and the purchase of raw materials and manages the site’s inventory of used barrels. Leads the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance in the warehouse.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling the site Safety Management system in line with Corporate Standards and local regulations. Ensures the safety of the employees under his or her supervision.
Manages the Safety Management system for the site and acts as the liaison between the corporate safety department as well as the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
Leads the Canadian Mist Safety Pillar.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Education: University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Engineering, Chemistry or Science Discipline
Experience: Engineering Degree, Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or another Science discipline, plus 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
Experience in the food and beverage industry.
Minimum five years supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
Strong oral and written communication skills – ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues to all levels of employees.
Strong interpersonal skills – ability to effectively influence others.
Thorough knowledge of safety systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.
Strong analytical/mathematical skills.\
Experienced in TPM Implementation and Pillar Development
