Brown-Forman Regional Financial Planning and Analysis Manager FP&A (IMEA-CCSA) in Guadalajara, Mexico
Reports to: AVP Finance & Strategy Director IMEA & CCSA
Partners with: Regional Commercial Teams, Regional Finance Teams, Country Finance directors/managers, Territory GM’s, Regional Marketing Teams, Corporate Accounting.
Direct Reports: GTR Sr. Finance Analyst
This position is responsible for varied areas of financial analysis and reporting for the IMEA & CCSA region including standard monthly management reporting and variance analyses, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis. Provides support to the AVP Finance & Strategy Director IMEA & CCSA with the quarterly and annual planning process, monthly reporting to Corporate and Financial Analysis. This position works closely with the local and corporate teams to look for ways to standardize regional processes, promoting efficiency and effectiveness. The region is encompassed by 5 different business units (Latin America, PUB, IMENA and Sub-Sahara Africa).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides monthly reporting on financial and volume reports. Assist AVP Finance & Strategy director with updating the Corporate Monthly Business Report.
Analyzes the Stripped Net Sales Underlying trends and accelerations plans.
Identifies potential risk & opportunities and communicates to corporate FP&A about material changes on the outlook.
Supports the preparation and ROI evaluation of investment plans for the region.
Preparation of Quarterly business reviews to corporate.
Supports the regional planning and projection processes overall. Help create necessary tools, consolidate inputs and report results to regional leadership and finance teams.
Coordinates the regional planning process including the preparation of P&L’s, regional rollups and regional presentations to corporate.
Supports the preparation of long term P&L through the development of comprehensive financial models, possible areas of growth, expansion,
Prepares financial analysis, capital budgeting requests.
Prepares the tracking of bonus plans for region and countries vs actuals.
Updates monthly T&E and brand expense reports and communicate to regional teams.
As required, develops meaningful ad hoc analyses designed to improve the region’s performance. Participate in special projects as requested.
Supervises the GTR Sr. Financial analyst work and participates in key business reviews for that region.
Oversees the FP&A work for the GTR region.

Technological Literacy : Possesses and demonstrates high level of technical expertise. Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise systems. Familiarity/experience in a Finance/Administration background (Adaytum, BW, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP).

Must have Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting 5+ plus years related work experience; or 5 to 7 years equivalent education/related work experience.
Master in Business Administration is desired.
Demonstrated ability to independently prepare financial analysis with accuracy and within an established time frame.
Ability to communicate complex issues in concise, clear manner.
Organization skills. Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple diverse work projects within the department.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Executive presence and ability to tell the story.
Advance English, Spanish or Portuguese (desired)
Demonstrated interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts.
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BW and SAP.
Personal honesty and integrity.
Hard worker with ability to work flexible schedule to work with different time zones and meet deadlines.
