Brown-Forman Spend Management Administrator in Guadalajara, Mexico
Meaningful Work From Day One:
Manage the workflow of nearly 25,000 vendor/distributor invoices (manual or digitized) for our internal and external customers for the US/Canada commercial organization to facilitate timely and accurate processing. Work with customers to resolve/troubleshoot exceptions or obstructions to this process; identify and implement efficiencies; support other divisional Spend Management roles. Manage exceptions and resolve issues for automated, digitized invoices.
What You Can Expect:
Division/Group Administrator for Spend Management, including Coupa.
Responsible for efficient invoice workflow and administration for the Business Unit.
Assist Spend Management Team in managing division/group purchase orders and internal orders in order to reflect properly in financial records.
Ensure efficient invoice workflow and administration by working with external partners and internal stakeholders.
Partner with the team on proper invoice submissions to ensure seamless workflow with invoice digitization partner.
Provide assistance to Spend Management and Corporate Procure Teams on issues as needed.
Provide general support for Procure to Pay Coupa processes, ensuring linkage to day-to-day invoice processing activities.
Provide assistance to Corporate Procure to Pay team as needed.
Identify root cause analysis of invoice processing errors and resolve errors in a timely and accurate manner.
Work with invoice digitization processor for error and problem resolution.
For markets with distributor portals, retrieve invoices from partner sites and workflow to Brown-Forman systems.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, or a related field, combined with 2 –4 years of related experience -or- 5+ years of related experience without a degree.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service/communication skills and an ability to develop/maintain effective work relationships with customers at all levels and with other team members
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience working with international currencies, taxes, and business processes, including determining resolutions to issues, errors, etc.
High energy level, ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task effectively in a service organization.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Proficient in English
