Meaningful Work From Day One

India is one of the fastest growing and high priority markets for Brown-Forman. As a Rebates Analyst, you will work closely with Finance and Commercial teams by providing day to day visibility and analysis of discounts to support the revenue growth management objectives of the business and help build a robust control environment.

What You Can Expect

• Assist in data preparation and review of discounts by customer/ by state and by nature of discount

• Own Discount Coordination Process ensuring a smooth process to receive, record, and follow up on all debit notes and invoices issued by our customers, matching these with our internal accruals in a timely manner

• Work directly with the accounting team to ensure the accrual process is aligned with our rebates process

• Review and reconciliation of the same highlighting any discrepancies and getting the same corrected

• Liaison with the accounting team to ensure correct provisioning and adjustment from receivables

• Manage and lead a regular review process of accrual balances liaising with relevant stakeholders (Commercial team, Finance & Accounting)

• Assist in profitability analysis and reviews of Value Chain

• Create, manage and maintain product pricing information

• Continuously look for ways to drive efficiency within the pricing and rebates space

• Credit & Collections review

What You Bring to the Table

• Strong hold of numbers and reconciliation process

• Expert in financial reporting and analysis

• Demonstrated ability and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP and Google Suite

• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with ability to clearly discuss business issues and translate into financial implications and actionable plans

What Makes You Unique

Essential:

• Chartered Accountancy or MBA in Finance

• Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in a similar role

• Sharp analytical mindset, flair for number crunching, and bringing out insights

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Preferred:

• Experience in FMCG or Alcohol Industry.
