Meaningful Work From Day One

This role will report into India Trade Marketing Manager. The person in this role will lead trade marketing function for the Brown-Forman India North and East Region for the Local Economy Business.

Key Stakeholders:

  • Internal – region commercial team, India marketing team, finance/accounting team.

  • External – activation agencies, vendor partners, customers (on and off trade accounts), distributors.


  • Lead execution planning, rollout and tracking of all national trade marketing campaigns/plans/promotions in the region.

  • Identify business challenges and opportunities in the region, recommend local trade marketing plan/activities with clear objectives, take approval from India trade marketing manager.

  • Leads planning, execution and tracking of local region trade marketing activities.

  • Developing and sharing business and trade marketing performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual.

  • Competition tracking and developing & sharing comprehensive competition reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual level.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Graduate in any discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years in sales at Territory Manager/Area Manager/Business Development.

  • Readiness to travel within the market & regionally (the person will spend 10 to 15 days in a month in the market in the region).

  • Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Strong relationship skills – must have the ability to influence without authority as this is an individual contributor role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: ability to clearly communicate ideas/challenges.

  • Numerical skills with high degree of accuracy.

  • Comfort with working in ambiguity with limited data.

  • Excellent presentation skills with high proficiency in PowerPoint.

Preferred education/experience

  • Educated to MBA.

  • Experience in trade marketing.
