Job Summary: This exciting role is an integral part of the IMENA & Africa Leadership Team and it is pivotal to support the General Managers and other LT members in driving People strategy & agenda. The Senior HR Manager IMEA works closely with the EAIMEA HR Director and the Regional HR Team, contributing to identify the current and future needs of the business within the cluster organizations. The position plays a key role in design, adaptation, delivery and execution of HR strategies and acts as a single point of contact for the employees and line managers in the clusters. The incumbent will create, guide, drive and deliver the HR projects to ensure effective HR advisory and operational support to local management teams, line managers and employees. He/she will ensure the correct and compliant execution of all the HR processes, in a close collaboration with the business leaders and the cluster HR Director. The Senior HR Manager works as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to enable the breaking down of divisional and departmental barriers and to encourage the concept of both internal and external partnership working. He/she/other independently manages all HR related matters and projects within the boundaries of the Brown Forman culture and values. Is preferred point of contact for EEs.
What You Will Do In This Role :
EMPLOYEES RELATIONS AND LIFE CYCLE
Be the primary point of contact for all staff and managers in IMEA regarding HR related topics.
Work closely with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization and with the regional and global HR teams and specialist functions ( GTA, Total Rewards, P&OD etc).
Manage complex and challenging employee relations cases and reorganization
Develops and maintains close working relationships with Employees & Leaders to ensure timely coordination and accomplishment of assigned responsibilities.
Provides advisory, coaching and direct support for managers in all HR related topics
Responsible for managing employee data relating to open positions, employment offers & contracts, compensation/job evaluation, benefit related communication, performance management process, new hire communication, orientation and onboarding, termination process.
Is responsible and in control of employees’ documentation overall employment contracts validity, collecting and supervision overall personnel documentation necessary for correct employment processes (support by local admin and external provider)
Is responsible for Workday data update & accuracy for the area of responsibility, through the MDM functional support.
Fully anages internal HR Policies and Procedures which requires cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, leads processes of internal approvals and announcements
TALENT ACQUISITION, MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Manages recruitment & hiring processes in collaboration with Leaders & Talent Acquisition Team.
Assists HRD & Leaders to obtain approvals to recruit and hire, align the job scope and competencies with the hiring Leader, agree on search channel, work with Global Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and other areas on sourcing, grading and benefit eligibility. Work with external partners, conduct candidate screening and interviews, manage decision process, negotiate and present offers; organize and deliver the on-boarding process for new employees.
Follows up on probation periods, administers all necessary statutory requirements and administration
Supports Talent Reviews and Succession Planning supports leaders and leads effective and efficient follow ups.
Champions D&I strategic initiatives and objectives -role modeling- engaging leaders and stakeholders through inclusive practices within all the Talent and People processes.
Works with leaders & POD team to identify L&D and training needs, define and implement learning plans.
Deliver training and workshops, coach employees and managers.
Promote & support Pause & Live Well initiatives, as well as Communication ones (i.e. Chatter campaigns)
Is actively involved in formulating & responsible for executing people development strategy in close collaboration with People and Organisation Development team
Manages full PGP cycle & communication, works with Leaders to ensure that employees receive feedback and ratings are delivered on time; ensure system availability and adequate (e.g. transparent, timely) communication.
Coaches, mentors and provides feedback to leaders and employees to improve individual and organizational performance
Advises managers to resolve people cases which include leading investigations, termination cases, official warnings, etc.
Closely collaborates with internal legal counsel to support performance improvement plans, exits and terminations management.Ensures stakeholders involvement.
TOTAL REWARDS (Compensations and Benefits)
Steer the compensation and benefits processes including communication to employees and managers.
Supports payroll preparation and execution in collaboration with GBS team & external payroll providers
Work with Total Rewards to ensure smooth and proper bonus calculation and payout process (STI), deal with pro-rata payments and ensure changes are communicated to payroll function.
Support budget & SG&A planning and regular reporting.
Provide HR key data points to HRD & LT (HC, per dep., start date, longevity, turnover, long absences, part-time; vacancies, recruitment status etc..)
Ensures People, Organisation & Culture strategic alignment with Business Strategies, provides recommendations to Country Plans, Business Reviews & Strategy works.
Is accountable for implementation of People 2025 Strategic priorities as well as DgE people/organisation & culture building strategies including D&I
Work with the IMENA team on guiding employee resource groups (ERGs) on local D&I activities
Process and reports information and HR data & analytics, proactively working on strategic and executional alignment with the Regional HRD
ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT & EFFECTIVENESS:
Collaborates with business leaders on organization design and efficiency, being fully accountable for creating, developing & implementing aligned HR strategies
Is involved in formulating organization structure development that includes preparing plans for future personnel needs, takes part in the processes of development approvals and final execution of approved plans
Drive organizational development measures, consult with managers and communicate to the organization.
HR EXTERNAL COLLABORATION
Support HRD in daily routine tasks as well as in special projects.
Collaborates with HR team ( Europe and Global) in regional/global HR projects
Is responsible for cooperation with external business partners delivering different types of HR services.
Represents company in case of authorities’ inspection or internal audit, in cooperation with the area HR Director.
Required Experience & Education:
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);
Business Administration, Law or comparable education with focus on Human Resources or related field
Certifications: CIPD Accredited and qualified
Experience: min 7 + years of experience in HR roles, preferably independent generalist position in multicultural environment
Advanced English (written and spoken)
IT systems and MS Office/Google Tools literate
Preferred Experience & Education:
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent);
Experience: Prior Experience in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries, consumer goods.
Ability to work with & utilise various HRM tools & methods.
