Meaningful Work From Day One:

The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of B-FD´s internal and external communications strategy. Manages communication processes and leverages the support of agency partners and other external resources when necessary. The role also advises the German Leadership Team (GLT) and other key stakeholders on communications strategies for projects and initiatives in support of the B-F Deutschland business and culture objectives, and leads its implementation and assessment of effectiveness.

What You Can Expect?

  • Leads the Communications agenda for B-FD internally within the organization and externally towards the market.

  • Works with the leadership team and other key stakeholders to identify and assess communications needs and opportunities; develops targeted communication strategies for B-FD and ensures a highly integrated and impactful implementation.

  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of communications, providing recommendations and adjusting plans as necessary.

  • Manages and updates all internal and external B-FD internal communications platforms (i.e. internal intranet, newsletter, external website and other external platforms). Utilizing the B-F Brand identity standards and guidelines (tone, voice, look, feel, expression, assets), creates content for business, people & culture related topics and collaborates with other teams and subject matter experts on their content

  • Prepares speeches, presentations and talking points for the GLT for both internal and external communications.

  • Contributes to the development and production of presentations, templates, Google Sites, infographics, videos, virtual meetings/conference, town halls and other communications formats in partnership with other functions and departments

  • Ensures timely and accurate translation of written local and Global content, either by her/himself, or through external providers. Collaborates with the Europe Event Planner for the simultaneous translation of i.e. key business meetings, national employee events, etc.

  • Collaborates with the Global and Europe Corporate Communications Team and other correspondent stakeholders across B-F to share B-FD news & stories.

  • Collaborates with the GLT in the design of Organizational Culture strategies and leads the execution of related initiatives. Keeps up-to-date with organizational culture trends and evaluates their incorporation to B-FD.

  • Leads the execution of in-house and external B-F events related to People, Culture, and Employer Branding

  • Supports the Managing Director & Leadership Team on special Business projects.

What You Bring to the Table?

  • College/University degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, HR or related field

  • Work experience in the field of Corporate Communications, Chief of Staff

  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with strong stakeholder awareness.

  • Good understanding, and comfortable with a hybrid working environment.

  • Native German speaker (or command of the language as a native) & English fluency.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Google docs. Interest and ability to learn emerging platforms.
