Meaningful Work From Day One
IT support professional who responds to incidents escalated by the service desk, or by direct contact by customers, that are related to customer equipment, computer equipment, network and telecommunications equipment. Functions as a single point of contact to coordinate IT resources to assist employees accomplish their assignments and obtain needed technology support.
What You Can Expect:
Asset Management of local IT assets.
Management, payment and reconciliation of IT invoices.
Deployment, support and troubleshooting of mobility technology and PC based Applications & equipment. This includes, but is not limited to: Microsoft Windows, SalesForce, Google Apps, desktop PCs, laptops, PC peripherals and printers.
Deployment, support and troubleshooting of networking equipment at the direction of the Louisville based Technology Engineering and Operations Management teams.
Deployment, support and troubleshooting of Wireless Devices. This includes, but is not limited to: Smartphone devices, Cell phones and Tablets
Deployment, support and troubleshooting of Video Conferencing Systems and Audio-Visual Support for meetings and internal events. (Webex, Google Meet, Apple TV, Livestream productions)
Works with local business users and assists with enterprise application usage and training, such as but not limited to Google, Salesforce, Workday, SAP triage, etc.
Uses the CA Service Desk to record all incidents and work activities.
Respond to Service Desk tickets meeting or exceeding existing SLAs.
Work closely with the Service Desk to ensure resolution of end user computing problems or requests in a timely fashion.
Works with other support personnel in Louisville and across the globe to ensure standards are consistently applied and in order to back up one another.
Support other European and Asia regions
We are looking for people who have:
University degree or equivalent work experience ideally with focus on IT Technology
several years of computer support experience supporting the following technologies: Windows 7, Windows 10, Virtualization Technologies, Storage Management / Backup Technology, Network Management, Cisco Telephony
Great English language skills (written & spoken), and fluent in German
Proven experience in Microsoft/Apple technology
First experience in working with VPN clients
Good knowledge of Google applications (Docs, Mail, Drive, etc.) and video technology (Webex, Google Meet, Apple TV, Livestream Broadcasting)
Experience with Apple and Android Technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audience and clients
Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
