Meaningful Work From Day One

This position holder will support the Supply Chain Specialist (Demand Planning) in all demand planning and inventory related topics for our emerging brands portfolio. The

holder of this position is responsible for supporting the rolling forecast (Sales and Operations Planning) with the US based headquarters as well as with other departments

such as Sales and Marketing. A key success criterion of the role is to build and maintain efficient and collaborative working relationships with all functions as well within the German Supply Chain Team and on the regional and corporate levels.

What You Can Expect?

Planning

  • Organize the efficient execution of Sales and Operations Planning for the assigned brands and SKUs

  • Closely cooperate with US headquarter and stakeholders in Europe

  • Cooperation with Sales, Finance and Marketing Team in terms of sales forecast, planned promotions and other activities that have impact on current demand of dedicated brands and SKUs. Analyze and review data monthly and suggest where appropriate any action

  • Evaluate the Sales Forecast

-Integrate rolling sales forecast and prepare forecast on SKU level for Supply and demand planning in US headquarter for the dedicated brand

-Regularly measure forecast accuracy and develop ways in cooperation with Sales to optimize accuracy

-Support Supply Chain Specialist (Demand Planning) in validation of SAP APO and sales forecast

  • Maintain and set-up SKUs in SAP APO, including subcontracting SKUs

  • Check SAP SNP for all subcontracting SKUs and correctness of data uploaded into APO

  • Collaborating with local and international stakeholders to secure the ideal inventorylevels as well as replenishment lead times and seasonal specifics

Reporting

  • Comparison of budget to forecast for dedicated brands – create and publish forecastaccuracy report

  • Promotion report in cooperation with Sales department

  • SKU analysis and review including slow mover report

  • Select information to present to other departments and prepare it for internal meeting as well as S&OP meeting

  • Ad Hoc reporting in SAP and Excel

  • Regularly report relevant key supply chain metrics to the Supply Chain leadership team to show and track levels of business support and operational effectiveness/excellence.

Promotions

  • Coordinate promotions for dedicated brands with Trade Marketing and Purchasing

  • Planning of co-packing capacities at Logistics provider

  • Tracking dry goods demand and planning production and deliveries

  • Create and post production orders for subcontracting SKUs

  • Set up and maintenance of production part lists for value added packs

  • Report promotion leftovers and cooperate with Sales to find solutions

  • Be part of internal cross functional projects for assigned SKUs and share logistic point of view

Customer Service

  • Set up, track and adapt customer allocations in APO of promotion SKUs

  • Manage and process internal orders for free goods and samples for Sales- and Marketing colleagues as well as free goods inventory for On trade field force

  • Support processing customer returns in cooperation with Logistics provider during peak times

Business Partnering

  • Works closely with colleagues across all departments including Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand their needs and to ensure consistent availability of products and dry goods

  • Develops and encourages strong partnerships with corporate support functions (Corporate FP&A, Data Science, Production, Global Packaging, Corporate Supply Chain, etc.).

What You Bring to the Table?

  • University Degree or similar education (apprenticeship in commercial profession)

  • Experience in the field of Supply Chain

  • Knowledge of SAP R3 (Materials Management)

  • Fluent German and English, both spoken and written

  • Great analytical skills, commercially savvy, and solution-focused to solving problems

  • Ability to handle big volumes of information and attentiveness to details

  • Collaborative team player, with conflict management skills

  • Adaptable, flexible, and resilient

  • IT literate - MS Office applications & Google applications
