Brown-Forman Media & Digital Specialist Premium Spirits (Jack Daniel’s, Woodford Reserve, Gin Mare) (w/m/d) in Hamburg, Germany
Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Media & Digital Specialist will work across the brand portfolio - with a priority on Jack Daniel’s and Super Premium Spirit brands such as Woodford Reserve and Gin Mare. The role will be part of the IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) Team Germany and embedded in the global IMC community - created to drive effectiveness and integration of marketing communications across the entire digital ecosystem.
The Media & Digital Specialist will be responsible to:
Implement and optimize media & digital campaigns , evaluate results to inform strategy and ensure smooth processes - in close collaboration with the marketing teams:
Planning, activation and optimization of paid media campaigns - this will be a focus of the role.
Management of digital marketing platforms & programs (e.g. websites, social media, CRM).
Analysis of media & digital campaigns - implementing global and/or local measurement frameworks, analytics & tools.
Integration across the entire ecosystem across Paid, Owned and Earned.
Ensure that the media & digital efforts ladder up to the Integrated Communications strategy of each brand :
Understand brand positioning, marketing strategy, and tone of voice to be supported in all marketing communications.
Work in partnership - the partnership between the IMC and brand teams is key. The local brand teams lead agency briefings and idea evaluation. They are the final approvers of brand strategy, communications plans and creative output.
What You Can Expect?
The Media & Digital Specialist works primarily across the Germany Marketing and Global IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) teams, including the IMC Center of Excellence, to achieve excellence in the following areas:
Market Support - Hands on in implementing media & digital campaigns:
Focus of the role is to plan, activate and optimize media campaigns - across offline and online channels. Connects with the media agency in the day to day.
Manages day to day digital projects with the marketing & sales teams - such as social post promotion, search and CRM campaigns as well as website updates.
Ensures to follow Brown-Forman communication principles as well as local advertising and data privacy regulations.
Campaign Measurement & Optimization:
Ensures robust campaign measurement as well as dynamic/inflight media optimization based on clear KPI setting.
Builds “test and learn” plans to continually improve our understanding of the best channel and content tactics to achieve campaign objectives.
Leverages data sources such as media KPIs, search metrics, social listening and competitive data to build a full picture of campaign response and maximize learnings.
Partners with the IMC Center of Excellence on campaign measurement, evaluation and optimisation (data, tools and metrics).
Collaboration & Best Practice:
Collaborates with the Germany Marketing Teams to turn brand strategy into communication strategy and to implement media & digital plans.
Partners with the IMC Center of Excellence as key expert partner and to build capability on IMC disciplines within the Germany organization.
Shares learning & best practices across global, Europe and market teams.
What You Bring to the Table?
Several years of working agency and/or client side in (digital) media and/or digital roles.
Demonstrated experience ideally across (digital) media as well as social, website and analytics.
Strong knowledge of (digital) media channels and experience in the German media landscape.
Consumer brand experience, ideally in a fast moving consumer goods or luxury brand company.
General understanding of marketing principles and brand growth strategy.
Evidence of project management and analytical skills within a communications environment.
Ideally fluent in both German and English.
