Brown-Forman Commercial Financial Coordinator Commercial Finance Coordinator - PUB in Itaim Bibi- SP, Brazil

Main activities and responsibilities (PUB):

  • Work closely and collaboratively with sales teams in coordinating pricing by adhering to the pricing process including building, gaming, interpreting and standardizing price structures by channel and customer. Preparing analysis and recommendations for all price changes for approval, including revenue management.

  • Value Chain optimization analysis / modeling by channel and customer and partnering with other areas such as sales, tax, and logistics/supply chain to identify business opportunities and optimize profit.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with sales teams in the development of customer level price promotion plans and perform post promotion analysis.

  • Perform post promotion analysis on key marketing programs and gift packs.

  • Maintaining monthly customer level P&Ls and analysis of customer profitability to identify opportunities to optimize revenue management and profit.

  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting on discount commitments versus actual expenditures including monthly discount accrual process.

  • Work with sales teams in volume planning for all channels by customer by SKU

  • Perform deep dive analysis for brands, channels, clients to understand the performance of the business. Identifying potential risks / opportunities based on trend analysis and market insights.

  • Utilize external resources (IWSR, Nielsen, and Merchandiser Pricing Surveys) to perform analysis to support finance/commercial decisions and investments

  • Support the Finance Manager – PUB as well as the sales and marketing team with ad hoc analysis.



  • Degree in Finance or Business Administration

Previous Experience/Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in similar positions.

  • Verbal and written fluency in English.

  • Work experience in international consumer product companies.

  • Strong Analytical skills, detail-oriented.

  • Able to create, analyze and interpret financial data and effectively communicate insights

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple diverse work projects.

  • Proactive self-starter with the intellectual curiosity to seek relevant questions to be answered.

  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP and BI reporting.

  • Technological Literacy : Possesses and demonstrates high level of technical expertise. Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise systems. Familiarity/experience in a Finance/Administration background (BW, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP)

  • Excellent Communications : Develops and maintains effective working relationships throughout the organization. Seeks consensus on business decisions with business partners. Follows though in a timely manner. The ability to clearly discuss business issues and translate into financial implications and action plans.
