The Area Marketing Manager is responsible for management of all elements of the marketing mix for Brown-Forman’s Travel Retail business in the Europe region, across assigned locations and customers. Key tasks are to manage the development and execution of Travel Retail marketing activities and key customer strategies to grow brand equity and profit within the region.
Area Marketing Management
Manage the development and implementation of Global Travel Retail initiatives throughout Europe. Partner with Global Marketing Manager and Brand Manager to ensure global consistency. Align with local markets where relevant.
A&P Budget Planning and Management: Partner with commercial and finance team, planning of A&P budget for assigned area customers and accounts. Manage assigned A&P budget items throughout the year.
Partner with commercial and finance teams to lead marketing activities for Europe within assigned Area.
Marketing Execution and Project Management
Oversee execution of all marketing activities for region. Develop promotional/marketing calendar and manage high volume of marketing activity within region to on-time and on-budget delivery. Manage external agencies and partners and B-F media to deliver and execute output.
Full project management of the planning and activation for TFWA Cannes trade show.
Partnerships & Collaboration
Collaborate with other Area Marketing Managers for best practice sharing.
Customer Partnership: Partner with commercial and finance teams to build and strengthen relationships with key customers. Activities include attending customer meetings, acting as “face of the brand/marketing” to customers, partnering with marketing counterparts in customer organizations, collaborating in joint business reviews and plans. Attend relevant customer and industry events including regional and global trade shows. Travel as needed to accomplish these tasks.
What are we looking for you to have?
BA in marketing or other business related functions or equivalent relevant experience.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to travel as needed for business, 15-25%
Experience in international business environment.
