This exciting new position is responsible for supporting the development of and administering the supply chain logistics of Brown-Forman’s United Kingdom and Ireland operation. Supporting the Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Manager for the UK & Ireland, you will provide analytical support and advice on demand planning issues, including providing and improving demand forecasts and monitoring.
Coordinate demand forecasting activities and provide regular reports on stock availability and financial outcomes of stock depletions
Support and continuously enhance ongoing demand and inventory planning routines, ensuring robust visibility of demand drivers and trade inventory as well as logistics restrictions
Enhance in-country demand planning processes at adequate levels in close collaboration with local commercial and finance teams, based on business plans
Support and lead as appropriate the monthly S&OP process as the key touchpoint between local demand planning and corporate supply/production planning.
Provide timely transparency of un-usual demand drivers (permanent or one-off)
Provide timely transparency to upstream supply disruption with potential impact on local business
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related area and experience in demand planning. Previous experience working in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries is preferable.
