Brown-Forman National Account Executive- Tesco/Booker 12 Month FTC in London, United Kingdom

Meaningful Work From Day One

This role is first and foremost a sales role integral to the off-trade sales function of B-F, driving performance in one of B-F UK’s major retail partners, Tesco. The key responsibility as a team member is to support the achievement of sales volume, gross profit, distribution, and promotion objectives assigned to the channel & customers of your responsibility. Generate a take away and sell-in forecast by SKU / store in collaboration with the Tesco Group customers under your responsibility, allowing BF-UK to achieve an optimal level of inventory and service. Identify and take advantage of opportunities that help the company achieve its distribution, exhibition and sales objectives.

You will work across and establish effective and trusted business partnerships with the relevant customers, formulating plans with customers to deliver key sales objectives.

What You Can Expect:

Build Strong Relationships

  • Develop a strong relationship with the customer and understand what drives their decision making process. Analyze the data and provide facts that Motivate them to purchase, promote and ensure visibility for our brands.

  • Build strong internal relationships across Brown-Forman. Working with the brand teams, category insights, finance, trade marketing, sales operations and especially supply chain teams, among others to effectively deliver growth and business development on your account

Business Development

  • Support KAMs on defining optimal inventory levels

  • Inventory analysis - act in a timely manner to avoid shortages/ stock outs and excess inventory.

  • Check, download and manage information from customers and generate reports that will allow timely decision-making.

  • Work in collaboration with Trade Marketing to measure and maintain optimal execution of activities at the POS.

Commercial & Strategic Planning

  • Support the National Account Manager & Senior Account Manager to develop account plan including volume, promotional activity, visibility, logistics and financial information along with KPIs for measuring results

  • Work with Marketing team to develop annual promotional plans

Sales Administration

  • Activate and evaluate brand activations within set timings and budgets

  • Analyse data - extract commercial and consumer insights to develop new strategies

  • General internal account maintenance

We Are Looking For People Who Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related area or equivalent experience

  • Sales experience within the wholesale and retail environment, ability to quickly deduce customer and channel needs as well as the ability to unlock insights from data and use them to drive growth with our trade partners

  • Experience in customer negotiation and sound knowledge of UK retail environment

  • Strong Business Acumen, P&L experience

  • Great statistic and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail

  • Self-starter with proven ability to identify issues and projects, plan and prioritize with demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects to completion by specific deadlines

  • Strong business acumen and judgment along with strategic capabilities

  • Superior communication skills (influencing, listening, presentations, written)
