Meaningful Work From Day One:

The Pricing & Rebates Manager is an integral part of the finance function, responsible for managing the entire pricing and rebates process. The includes ensuring B-F prices are set up and managed with SAP and other systems in a timely manner; owning the set-up of any relevant customer rebates; and leading a team of two to support the processing and matching of rebates as they arrive in our system from customers. A key part of the role will be problem solving and process improvement as we continually look to develop our current ways of working to drive efficiencies and results.

What You Can Expect:

Rebate & Accrual Management (40%)

  • Set up, update and maintain all on/off invoice discounting within SAP based on agreements negotiated with our customersagreements negotiated with our customers Set up, update and maintain all on/off invoice discounting within SAP based on

  • Ensure appropriate accruals within our system (SAP R/3 and SAP B/W – Moving to S4HANA)

  • Manage and lead a regular review process of accrual balances liaising with relevant sales teams and managers to coordinate

  • Own the rebate coordination process ensuring a smooth process to receive, record and follow up on all debit notes and invoices issued by our customers, matching these with our internal accruals in a timely manner

  • Work directly with the accounting team to ensure the deductions process is aligned to our rebates process

  • Issues monthly and quarterly credit notes to the customers according to the price structure agreed

Pricing Management (30%)

  • Create, manage and maintain product pricing information within all our systems

  • Responsible for issuing price lists to sales teams and customer service ensuring all information is centralised and updated on a regular basis

  • Manage any internal technical process around price changes ensuring appropriate and timely communication within the organisation and within our systems

Systems Improvement (15%)

  • Support on ad-hoc projects to support process improvement and business efficiency. Previous examples include being the UK lead for SAP S4HANA implementation and the setting up of a new process for promotion approvals

  • Continuously look for ways to drive efficiency within the pricing and rebates space

Team Management & People Development (15%)

  • Lead a team of two talented rebate coordinators, supporting them with their career development

  • Dotted line responsibility of one pricing and rebate analyst driving their workload and ensuring they develop in tandem with their direct report – UK Accounting Manager

  • Ensure this team is involved and empowered to drive process change and efficiency within the function

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Bachelors degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance, Customer service or Sales Admin department

  • Experience within an FMCG industry (Spirits industry experience is preferable)

  • Previous experience within rebates management is important

  • Knowledge of SAP (S4HANA implementation would be a bonus)

  • Mindset of continuous improvement

  • Superior analytical skills including advanced excel and google sheets skills

What You Can Add to the Team:

  • An understanding of the commercial environment, experience in spirits would be an advantage but is not essential

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation

  • Self-starter with ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects in an efficient manner

  • People leadership experience is preferable
