Lead the inception and development of strategic marketing plans for Woodford Reserve top growth brand business priority and Old Forester in collaboration with the Head Of Super Premium, direct reports and other marketing and sales staff.
Lead the overall strategy for Woodford Reserve and Old Forester – be the main contact for select programs and expressions.
Coach and develop Assistant Brand Manager to develop their marketing and leadership skills and experience
Assist in the development of other team members through sharing of marketing expertise and leading by example
Brand and Innovation Strategy
Lead the development and approval of annual and three year brand plans
Liaise with local, regional and global brand executives to ensure that brand plans adhere to local & global strategy
Devise and manage brand objectives, strategies and promotional programs in line with local & global brand strategies
Oversee and manage the varying brand’s P&L’s and take brand ownership of our pricing and discounting strategies (both short and long term vision)
Spend time in the trade to understand practical implementation of all marketing promotional activities
Conduct full marketing evaluations and make recommendations for any changes that might benefit the brand
Be ‘the face of the brands’ to all internal and external stakeholders
Work with Customer Marketing team to finalise the joint business plan to sell in the brands
Facilitate, lead cross functional collaboration for key projects and strategic initiatives
What are we looking for you to have?
Marketing or related qualification or equivalent experience in a Luxury Goods or FMCG company.
Great understanding of digital and social media landscape
Experience driving the overall communications plan including through the line activities
Experience in management role/leadership role
Strong commercial background and experience being able to build comprehensive business cases for product investments; modelling volumes, price, channel margin, product COGS, development efforts, and manufacturing costs - in collaboration with respective functions
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to translate insight into new ideas and strategies, and recommend changes deemed fit for growth.
