Brown-Forman Business Transactions Specialist (Temporary) in Louisville, Kentucky
This is a 6 month temporary position.
Under general supervision, uses skills gained through training and experience to assist with specific projects or tasks assigned within the Accounts Payable, Expense Processing and Payroll departments. Follows established procedures to perform tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform other work with substantial variety and varied complexity. Some judgment is required to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to apply to more complex assignments. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to a higher level.
Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve time tracking and payroll processing issues.
Create, generate and edit EIB’s for payroll, time tracking, and absence mass loads, and holiday schedules.
Identify opportunities to streamline and reengineer processes to achieve efficiencies.
Process Off Cycle payments requests for all pay groups and pay frequencies.
Load, validate, and reconcile earnings and deductions such as Live Well, Virgin Pulse, ESPP, tuition, liquor allowance, shoe allowance, Fund for The Arts and Metro United Way.
Execute integrations for T&E in Concur. Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues. Reconcile transactions loaded in Workday against Concur system.
Organize, review, and deliver monthly international payroll data to various BF local contacts and in-country payroll providers for several countries across different regions and time zones.
Load Garnishment orders and wage attachments timely into third-party vendor system. Work with vendor to respond inquiries and track responses in a timely manner. Assist employees and HR partners to resolve outstanding issues.
Collaborate in special projects and initiatives such as Benefits Annual Enrollment, Benefits vendor transition, Global Payroll Project, and Expense Processing vendor transition.
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll related data and ensure information is provided only to authorized individuals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications
Exceptional customer service skills and high level of professionalism and courtesy in highly charged situations
Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts
High level of integrity, diplomacy, and confidentiality
Strong mathematical skills and ability to research, analyze, and resolve payroll issues.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate in a precise and clear manner across all levels of the organization.
Ability to learn new technologies (payroll and other software/applications)
Able to work a flexible schedule and extended hours when necessary
Degree in accounting, finance or related area
Conversational fluency in multiple languages
3-5 of payroll related experience
