Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Communications Partner for USA&C and Brands (Marketing) will serve as a communications partner to these functions providing proactive, strategic communications counsel and support to address a wide range of communications needs. This includes the development and execution of communication plans and deliverables for both internal and external audiences.
This person will collaborate and work closely with Chiefs of Staff to build strategy, set priorities and deliver results.
This person will also partner with Executive Leaders, senior business leaders and HR Business Partners, allowing for close alignment and involvement throughout the entire communications decision-making, creation, and delivery process.
The Communications Partner serves as the primary point of contact with their partners and in turn draws upon the resources and services of the wider B-F Brand and Communications team.
This partnership role has a high level of influence, decision-making and leadership in establishing and implementing effective, efficient, and consistent communications. The role requires a high degree of initiative and anticipation as well as the ability to work comfortably with competing priorities, work through ambiguity and excel in strategy through to execution.
What You Can Expect:
Serves as the lead communications contact for business partners to develop highly integrated, impactful, and effective content and messaging for both internal and external audiences
Helps develop and manage master communications calendar to align with corporate and division key communications and timing
Manages the day-to-day writing, editing, formatting, development and delivery of internal and external corporate communications for designated partners
Leads the creative and planning process for strategic communications by utilizing and reflecting the B-F Brand identity standards and guidelines (tone, voice, look, feel, expression, assets), common templates and established best practices
Collaborates and works across the business to ensure effective execution through strategic project planning, implementation, measurement and evaluation
Coordinates closely with External and Brown-Forman Brand Communications team as needed to enable utilization of channels, technology, analytics and assets and to deliver creative, engaging, timely and relevant communications consistently and effectively internally and externally, including messaging for key events and conferences
Develops, identifies and shares best practices internally and externally, staying abreast of trends, industry and competitor news, and driving innovation with other communication partners
We Are Looking For People Who:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field, plus 5-7 years experience, including external PR and communications
Ability to inspire confidence, trust, and respect within Brown-Forman and with external audiences
Desire to learn, innovate and grow as a communicator
