Brown-Forman Data and Analytics Specialist - Jack Daniel's Family of Brands in Louisville, Kentucky
Meaningful Work From Day One:
This role supports the US & Canada Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team for the Jack Daniel’s family of brands in understanding the impact of its communications programs, helping establish metrics, conducting analysis and sharing learnings on IMC programs for the US & Canada business and following global protocols for pre- and post-campaign evaluation and considering how to build “dynamic optimization” into media programs.
The role will leverage our social listening tools and other digital analytics tools to build a full picture of campaign performance and to understand the consumer journey across media, social, on-line video, CRM, search, website, data and analytics, content and e-commerce.
What You Will Do In This Role:
Set Metrics for Key IMC Campaigns
Follows Global IMC Center of Excellence protocols in setting up pre-campaign metrics and post campaign evaluation, leveraging the platforms and data that supports these metrics.
Works with the US&C IMC team to ensure the metrics measured are most relevant to brand objectives.
Considers how campaigns can be used to optimize learning in terms of channel, content and audience including “dynamic optimization” opportunities within platforms.
Works with our media AOR and with other agency and media partners to leverage data and analytics capabilities not available internally.
IMC Optimization & Reporting
Leverages Global IMC Center of Excellence protocols and tools to create consistent and timely campaign effectiveness reporting, sharing results and best practices with internal stakeholders.
Leverages internal data and analytics teams to efficiently generate standard reports.
Leverages a variety of sources and tools, including search metrics, social listening and competitive data to build a full picture of campaign response and maximize future learnings.
Data & Analytics: Subject Matter Expertise
Serves as the subject matter expert within the US&C IMC team on how to fully leverage data and analytics to evaluate and optimize campaign performance.
Supports and trains the US IMC team on how to maximize these tools in campaign analysis to build this capability across the team.
Understands and anticipates US&C data gaps and future data and analytics needs and makes recommendations to the Director and Center of Excellence.
Serves as a subject matter expert on data and evaluation tools and developments in these from key partners such as Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Google search and other partners.
What Exactly Are We Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ experience working client and/ or agency side in media and marketing disciplines
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build relationships with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders across various levels within an organization
Previous experience in analytics, campaign measurement and working with data sources. (Mar-Tech / Ad Tech)
Demonstrated analytical and numeracy skills
Experience working across the US media landscape and strong knowledge of US media channels and suppliers
Demonstrated analytical thinking across media, social, on-line video, CRM, search, website, data and analytics, content and e-commerce
Evidence of project management where strong numeracy and analytical skills are required
What Makes You Unique:
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as tableau
Professional certification in data or analytics related field
Previous experience working with digital performance data and working directly with data platforms & suppliers
Planning and buying experience gained on client and/or agency side
Experience in building and training analytical capabilities and implementing new analytical systems
