Brown-Forman Data Quality Analyst in Louisville, Kentucky

Meaningful Work From Day One:

Responsible for the collection and reporting of global depletions, ensuring compliance to established data quality metrics, developing new data quality procedures as needed, reviewing and resolving data anomalies, and maintaining master data. Ensures data is accurate, complete, and consistent across various data sources.

What You Can Expect:

  • Work with external data providers to ensure timely delivery of electronic transmissions, proper code setups, and accuracy of information for reporting analysis.

  • Monitor balancing reports, identify issues, and resolve variances. Determine escalation path for identified issues.

  • Manage key master data values. Ensure distributors, brands, and products are maintained in appropriate systems, tables, and hierarchies.

  • Harmonize global depletion and sales data through product creation and master data maintenance as it pertains to the relationship of products to brands, manufacturers, and categories.

  • Complete database updates and realignments relating to business changes.

  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned global markets. Load depletions for assigned markets into the SAP Global Depletion Management System and validate reports.

  • Work with the data quality team to prepare and publish monthly global depletion flash reports.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed using tools such as SAP Analysis for Office and Tableau.

  • Understand the flow of data through systems to enhance reports and data requirements. Maintain documentation.

  • Manipulate, consolidate, import, and export data files utilizing various software such as SAP, Excel, and Tableau.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual reporting/data processes and manage execution of those projects.

What Exactly Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years systems or related business experience; or 5 - 7 years of combined education related experience; or equivalent education/experience combination.

  • Strong mathematical skills with ability to compile and analyze large volumes of statistical data from multiple systems and prepare results in a variety of formats.

  • Proficiency with Excel.

  • Proficiency with reporting tools such as Analysis for Office and Tableau.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, monitoring progress, and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete work with speed and accuracy within an established time frame.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external business associates.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong teamwork and dedication mentality.

  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as necessary.

  • Professional, self-starter who can work independently with little supervision and can exercise independent judgment.
