Brown-Forman Digital Media Production Manager in Louisville, Kentucky

Position Summary:


Manages and coordinates the production and utilization of graphic elements, digital components, and other audiovisual logistics in support of corporate messaging, brand promotional activities, and major corporate and divisional meetings including the annual shareholders meeting. This includes coordinating live events as well as video streaming and/or recording for future use. Oversight of technical components.


Media Production and Editing: Provides management of and participatory activity as related to video production and editing, live video/event streaming, audio recording, digital photography, videography, and a/v projects coordination.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in aplicable computer hardware/software

  • Provides digital imagery (video and still images) to news organizations, websites, and digital media playback devices via requests from the Brown-Forman Public Relations managers.

  • Produce and direct live video streaming of events using multiple video cameras, graphics and recorded video playback to internal Brown-Forman audiences and external audiences on the Brown-Forman campus and from remote locations.

  • Maintain internal contacts, working closely and confidentially with all levels of management, marketing, sales, technical, and production personnel.

  • Keep services and equipment up-to-date and in line with corporate and divisional needs; recommend and document needs for major equipment purchases on an annual basis.

  • Produces commercial photography, video production, audio-visual

Meeting Support: Involved in the execution of the technical aspects for all major meetings. Works with the entire Communications team, Meeting Planning and the client to ensure continuity and sharing of “Best Practices” for all Brown-Forman major meetings.

  • Key team member in the strategic, logistical and technical planning for major meetings for the corporation and working as an on-site director and a/v coordinator as required.

  • Works extensively with off-site programs and events to capture imagery for immediate editing and placement on the system in a news reporting type format.

  • Assumes main responsibilities for technical operation and direction for the Brown-Forman Conference Center, Founders Hall meeting rooms and the A-5 boardroom.

Client Relations: Serve as a liaison and coordinator between the corporation and outside media producers and suppliers. Determines the best of use of internal and external resources as it relates to addressing client needs and priorities.

Vendor relations: maintain outside contracts with audio-visual and photo vendors for outsourcing needs.

Must Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, video production, or related field and five or more years varied audio-visual experience including; commercial photography, computer graphics creation, videography and editing, or eight or more years related experience or equivalent education/experience combination.

Preferred Requirements:

Five to seven years supervisory experience in a department providing direct media support for commercial presentations.

Experience and working knowledge of computer hardware/software for PC/MAC environments.

Video production and editing

Advanced Computer Skills

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Dreamweaver

Computer operation of Final Cut Pro HD Editing software, Pinnacle Studio Digital Video Editing software, Sound Forge Audio Studio, LiveStream for live video streaming
