Meaningful Work From Day One:
Direct and manage in the areas of purchased enterprise business applications and internal developments within chosen technologies: SAP, Coupa, Concur, SalesForce, Google, Tableau, etc. Establish and maintain Brown-Forman’s corporate facing information technology assets. Ensure all internal application developments are value driven, targeted to purpose and implemented and maintained according to best practice. Lead and establish expertise in chosen technologies and ensure a depth of knowledge and coverage required to deliver and maintain business value via technology enablement. Direct and lead day-to-day activities in association with the construction, enhancement and implementation of applications utilized across geographies and business functions.
What You Can Expect:
Develops and leads the implementation of the application implementation, support and development for global corporate applications development environments
Contributed to and executes against the overall enterprise application strategy and information architecture roadmap.
Pursue and adopt emerging, innovative, industry leading applications, analytics tools, capabilities and methodologies to advance business process execution
Accountability and responsibility for information protection and privacy, information governance, data quality and data lifecycle management, along with the exploitation of data assets to create business value.
Responsible for leading Coupa, Concur and other application implementation and support teams
Works closely with IT’s Infrastructure leadership team and the Technology Architecture team to define and execute a strategy to optimize the technical architecture for Brown Forman’s key enterprise application systems
Oversees the development and implementation of documented processes for system operations, support, management, administration activities.
Manages the development and support of associated business systems, supervising and developing staff of IT managers, business analysts, technology engineers and/or external consultants.
Manages the development, implementation and support of applications developed with SalesForce, Google, SAP and chosen reporting and visualization tools.
Develops functional and industry expertise for assigned process & technology areas, works to improve and optimize business processes with technology tools.
Hires, supervises, and motivates a technically-skilled staff through coaching, training, and development in order to achieve maximum productivity and effective operations.
Develops technical and business skills of self and staff to achieve increased productivity and quality of Brown-Forman's technology operations.
Provides leadership in ensuring consistent use of a standard development framework, methodology and application systems development processes throughout IT.
Drives the importance of the Testing and QA phases across all development initiatives.
Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to leverage Brown Forman’s existing applications development framework and technology assets.
Develops budgets, manpower requirements, and detailed schedules to ensure department and IT objectives are met.
Manages and controls software maintenance renewal agreements and cost-containment.
Develops strong vendor and partner alliances and negotiates contracts regarding technical, financial, and legal terms.
Effectively influence key stakeholders and team members to deliver optimal IT solutions in line with business and IT strategy.
What You Bring To the Table:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science or related field plus ten years applicable experience or equivalent experience.
15-20 years of demonstrated progressive experience in implementing technology solutions enabling business processes.
15 years of proven expertise in software technical design, planning, project management, implementation, and support for a variety of Enterprise Applications Solutions (ERP, financial, supply chain, manufacturing, data management, SOX Compliance, etc.), professional services industry experience a plus.
Direct experience in leading and supporting a successful implementation of enterprise level software across multiple business functions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Working technical knowledge of telecommunications, data networks, physical plant, client-server systems, personal computers, the Internet and related protocols, computing hardware and software platforms, enterprise systems (high availability), data center operations, network management, and data security.
In depth experience working with Oracle database administration.
Strong communication (written & verbal), presentation and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a high pressure environment, meet deadlines, and ability to simultaneously develop, deploy, and coordinate multiple projects.
