Meaningful Work From Day One
Leads the Insights function for Brown-Forman - US and Canada across the full brand portfolio (e.g. Jack Daniels, Woodford Reserve, Herradura, etc.)
Leads and develops a “best-in-class” team of Consumer and Shopper Insights professionals
Member of both the US & Canada Marketing Leadership Team and Global Insights Leadership Team
Actively contributes to the development of short and long-term business strategies of the Division
Works with the Global Insights Director and Global Insights Leadership Team on thought leadership projects that support the Insights and Marketing imperatives
What You Can Expect
Develops/Maintains strong understanding of Brown-Forman Growth Framework and its application to the development of the portfolio in the region
Maintains understanding of division’s route to consumer, provides leadership in driving category, consumer and shopper insights that inform field marketing initiatives and successful implementation of commercial KPI’s
Actively leads a communication strategy that ensures relevant information are reaching the appropriate decision-makers in a timely fashion
Understands consumer, shopper and category trends to identify future growth potential for the business
Incorporates new sources of data and insight such as on-line behavioral and digital data in conjunction with IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) Center of Excellence
Manages evolving business requirements relative to the roles, structure and capability needs of the US/CA insights team
Serves as a Marketing Capability Champion, that in coordination with other depts, helps improve marketing capabilities of the region
What Exactly Are We Looking For?
Education: College/University (Bachelor or Equivalent);
Experience: Undergraduate Degree or higher and 12+ years working client and/or agency side in an Insights organization
Strong technical and statistical skills and expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Experience working with key external agencies and suppliers (Insights, Creative, Media, etc.)
Experience developing, leading, and managing a team
Experience working in a portfolio and highly-matrixed organization
Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand growth strategy
Experience and passion for Diversity & Inclusion
