Brown-Forman Director Total Rewards Operations in Louisville, Kentucky
This position is responsible for the execution of HR processes related to mobility, health and welfare benefits, retirement income, master data, leave management, and fixed and variable pay plans. The purpose of the role is to support a premium employee experience in-line with our philosophy while ensuring efficient and scalable processes.
Oversee operations associated with total rewards, global mobility, and master data management
Lead a team of internal B-F employees as well as vendors to deliver this work; ensure a deep focus on service, accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
Partner with others in HR and total rewards to integrate new processes, consult on process design, or support the expansion of B-F’s geographic portfolio
Leads communications of total rewards to support employee appreciation and engagement as well as ensuring a consistent and unified employment brand (such as the development of total rewards statements)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of relevant experience in human resources/total rewards including process design vendor management and team leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Can deploy human-center design thinking to develop and execute processes that are effective, efficient, and relevant across the employee lifecycle and to many cultures
Frequently and proactively assesses impact of team’s performance and drives continuous improvement because of findings
Ensures high standards of process control are followed, including documentation, audit, and after-action review
Shows deep empathy for the experience of employees and their families and instills this in others
Expert at managing vendors to provide a seamless service delivery experience for employees and an efficient cost structure for B-F
Team Leadership - ability to inspire and engage a team of experienced compensation and benefits operations professionals
Vendor Management skills: knowledge of contract provisions, negotiation and RFP processes, SLA development and tracking
Systems knowledge (Workday preferred). Ability to configure Workday and manipulate data efficiently within the system and in excel/google sheets
Attention to detail in data and processes. Ability to develop and deploy audit procedures to prevent and catch errors.
