Brown-Forman Financial Analyst in Louisville, Kentucky
Meaningful Work from Day One As a member of the Global Production Finance team, the Financial Analyst role will encompass general accounting, reporting, decision support, budgeting, financial analyses, and ad hoc projects as necessary to support the department. This position will work with multiple sites and cross functional groups within Brown-Forman.
What You Can Expect
Perform month end closing entries and related activities for Europe Operations sites according to deadlines
Prepare quarterly account reconciliations and clearings
Support statutory audits with documentation preparation and project management
Coordinate and complete compliance tasks as assigned
Assist Europe Operations sites with monthly reporting and analysis
Develop tools and processes to continuously improve and streamline accounting operations across sites while improving quality and efficiency
Prepare desk procedures/processes/training materials to be shared across sites
Support Global Production financial and operating partners during the annual budgeting cycle through coordination of tasks and deployment of common processes, analytical tools, and consistent reporting formats (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Assist with development of contents cost standards for Scotch and Irish whiskeys
Assist with distillery production planning analysis and presentationsSpecial projects as assigned
We Are Looking for People Who
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Experience:
2 - 4 years of business experience with a financial/accounting focus
Superior attention to detail with top-notch accuracy
Good working knowledge of accounting principles and their applications
Self-motivated to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel (including graphing, pivot tables, V-lookups and other advanced functions) and PowerPoint
Experience SAP/ERP and Business Warehouse (BW) or similar enterprise software packages
