Brown-Forman Food Service and Hospitality Professional - Reserve Power/ Part Time in Louisville, Kentucky

Position Summary: The Food Service and Hospitality Professional will work to guarantee guest satisfaction with timely and courteous service in all Culinary & Hospitality Services operations. The position will function in all aspects of food and alcoholic beverage service, including cashier, food expeditor, catering attendant, and delivery driver. Exemplary attention to detail and self-motivation are hallmarks of this role. Technological proficiency is required to work with Point-Of-Sale systems, as well as Gmail and Google Suite. Knowledge of basic safe food handling protocols and certification in responsible alcoholic beverage service guidelines are required for this position. Valid driver’s license is required with no moving violations on the individual’s driving record.

This is a part time role and hours will be Monday - Friday during business hours, typically 7am - 2pm or 8am - 3pm. This may vary based on business needs and locations listed below.. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour

Hours per locations: Bourbon Street Cafe, -Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am - 3 pm Catering Days and hours vary, depending on business needs Bottling House Grill - Monday - Friday Cashier, 7 am - 2:30 pm Delivery Coordinator - 7 am - 2:30 pm Delivery Driver - 8 am - 2:30 pm Dining Room Attendant- 8 am - 2:30 pm Garvin’s Grounds Coffee Shop - Monday 7 am - 2:30 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process “Order Ahead” orders through POS Input customer orders into POS

  • Process payments for in-person orders, maintaining accurate cash flow

  • Run end of day reports and transfer data to Daily Sales Record (DSR)

  • Reconcile and report daily cash deposits

  • Assist with minor food packaging as directed by the Chef

  • Clean and sanitize all tables, chairs, door handles, and any other high touch surfaces

  • Restock and rotate beverage coolers, marketplace, and condiment stations according to par levels set forth

  • Assist in timely and sanitary food service during peak hours of operation

  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout the shift (spot sweep floor as needed, clean and mop any spills, etc.)

  • Collect garbage and change trash bags at the end of service, adhering to corporate sustainability guidelines

  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned

  • Accurately perform order verification system before departing kitchen for delivery to ensure meals are delivered error free

  • Execute safe and timely delivery of off-campus orders within the prescribed time frame

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles

  • Maintain accurate digital logs of mileage and maintenance for delivery vehicles

Must Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years experience as a restaurant server, bartender, host, and/or catering attendant

  • Customer service experience

  • Basic Computer skills with experience in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office

  • Experience working with Point-of-Sale technology

  • Valid Server Training in Alcohol Regulations (STAR) Certification

  • Valid Food Handlers Permit

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of restaurant industry, catering, and event planning

Skills:

  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and events, including prioritization of requests and external contacts

  • Professional communication skills, both written and oral

  • Bookkeeping skills

  • Capable of developing and maintaining an effective working relationship with all levels of personnel and external contacts. Must be personable and friendly to guests and coworkers

  • Ability to complete work with speed and accuracy

  • Must be able to project a positive image with confidence and poise to guests and hospitality team members
