Brown-Forman Homeplace Director - USA and Mexico in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Summary: As the Homeplace Director - USA & Mexico, you will play a key role in the marketing and management of our visitor experiences at Woodford Reserve, Old Forester, Cooper’s Craft, Sonoma Cutrer, and Casa Herradura. The Director role is responsible for the oversight of the operations and financial management of these homeplaces. This includes leadership of the planning process to deliver best in class, memorable consumer experiences, while strategically aligning tourism operations with production distillery operations and global brand objectives. The Homeplace Director- USA & Mexico will oversee creating and driving long-term business vision, homeplace goals, objectives and strategies, including capital requests, and the ongoing development of the Homeplace revenue streams, ensuring they will deliver quality performance, adherence to standards, while managing the business with a fiscally responsible lens. The Director will work closely with the homeplace operations managers at the individual homeplaces on on-site sales and marketing activity as well as the execution of homeplace programs, events, tours, trade events, tasting room operations, media and CRM. The Homeplace Director- USA & Mexico must ensure that Brown-Forman’s values are integrated into the culture at each Homeplace, fostering a culture of trust, openness, and diversity and inclusion. This role will work with the Homeplace managers to lead, coach, motivate, and develop the Homeplace teams. The Director must provide strong leadership in providing a safe, respectful, and responsible environment for employees and visitors.

The US & Mexico Homeplace Director is also a key member of the Global Homeplace Leadership Team and is responsible for implementing global approaches and tools across the US & Mexico homeplace portfolio, sharing best practice, learning from other homeplaces and ensuring consistency of operations with other homeplaces.

What Exactly Are We Looking For?

-College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);

-Minimum seven years in the hospitality and/or tourism and/ or guest experience field; or appropriate combination of education and experience.

-Proven experience leading and managing teams.

-Must be able to demonstrate an ability to interact with consumers, share the story of our brands and bring the experiences to life.

-Understands brand marketing team input and can effectively apply information to hospitality programs and executions.

-Experience in hospitality and event program development, planning and execution.

-Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule as weekends and extended workdays are sometimes necessary.

What You Can Add to the Team

-Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent);

-Strong understanding of the beverage alcohol industry

-Previous experience running a brand homeplace or visitor attraction.

-Previous experience leading a guest experiential location.
