Brown-Forman Logistics Intern - Supply Chain Integration in Louisville, Kentucky
The Logistics Intern will support the Supply Chain Logistics Team. Key focus areas will be distribution network analysis, financial payments processing, global commerce, and cross-functional project management. The Supply Chain Integration team has industry leading technology, tools, and personnel. The supply and logistics intern would work closely with the following cross-functional supply chain integration functions: Transportation & Logistics, Supply & Demand Planning, Global Production Facilities, External Warehousing, and Sourcing & Procurement.
Key responsibilities include :
Key Performance Metrics Creation, Project Management, Value Stream Mapping, Logistics & Transportation Process Improvements, Financial Operations Execution, and Customs Compliance & Supply Chain Security- Supplier Assessments.
Develop understanding of projects or business situations to which statistical data are in order to determine most appropriate methodology.
Development and Coach co-workers on experimental design and statistical modeling methods.
Available May 2018 – April 2019
Min GPA: 3.0
At least a Junior status
Working toward bachelor’s degree in a business related major
Ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize work to meet established deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Advanced Excel skills preferable
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
