Brown-Forman Manager - IT Governance/Risk/Compliance (Remote) in Louisville, Kentucky

Meaningful Work From Day One

Responsible for ensuring that the organization’s IT governance is aligned with business objectives while managing risks and meeting compliance requirements. It’s a challenging role, but also an opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization’s success.

What You Can Expect

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures consistent with the organization’s governance frameworks

  • Lead the development and maturity of our IT risk management program to ensure IT risks are identified, assessed, prioritized, and remediated

  • Facilitate IT risk assessments to expose unrecorded risks, vulnerabilities, and threats

  • Develop and implement practical but effective policies, procedures, and processes to ensure organizational data is properly cataloged, classified and secured

  • Champion and facilitate Brown-Forman’s IT governance, risk, and compliance programs via awareness, acknowledgement, and acceptance

  • Work closely with IT, audit, legal, and other business units via collaboration and consultation

  • Coordinate and oversee IT audits, assessments, compliance reviews

  • Evaluate and manage risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers

  • Deliver IT compliance in a manner that is respectful, adaptable, and collaborative

  • Stay abreast of technological changes, industry regulations, and best practices

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of IT experience focused on compliance, risk, audit or similar functions

  • Knowledge of IT governance and risk management frameworks including compliance practices (e.g., COBIT, GDPR, ITIL, NIST, PCI, SOX, etc.)

  • Ability to develop security standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, coaching and influencing skills

  • Strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis, dashboarding, and metrics as well as the ability to translate data, research, and trends into actions

  • Experience leading teams, especially the coaching and developing others

What Makes You Unique

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree within a related area of study. Work experience accepted in lieu of education

  • Information security related training or certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP
