Brown-Forman Senior Business Systems Analyst in Louisville, Kentucky
Note on Locations: Louisville or any of our NAR Division Offices: Newport Beach, Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore.
Provide expertise for implementing and supporting collaborative technologies at Brown Forman globally. These technologies will cover many groups including Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing and logistics for approximately 2800 employees around the world.
Work with BF business users to select and implement collaborative technology solutions that enable users to be more effective and efficient. These solutions should be created from one of the BF corporate platforms such as: Salesforce.com, Force.com, Google Apps and Chatter.
Will also act as a change agent for NAR and CCSA Regions as these new technologies are deployed.
Gather requirements, evaluate, assess and select a technology that meets the requirements and is compatible with existing systems and BFIT’s strategy.
Create solutions that are quick to build, easy to roll out, intuitive and most of all relevant to the business.
Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new and emerging trends in software and hardware technologies.
Create and maintain relationships with business users so that new ideas and technologies can be introduced easily
Work with the rest of the global teams to share and employ best practice across all regions.
Under general supervision, serve as the in-house “expert” responsible for collaborative technologies design, implementation, testing and support.
Partner with the business to understand how their technology needs can be satisfied with solutions built using BFIT’s chosen technologies.
These technologies will include, but not be limited to: Salesforce.com, Google, Force.com and Chatter.
Lead the execution of technology implementation initiatives, within the accepted time lines, budgets and resources.
While full project management skills are not required, the ability to track and report out on the active tasks is necessary.
Responsible for training and supporting BF users across the world.
Communicate new ideas and technologies to BF employees so those ideas can be used to solve existing problems.
Investigate and solve complex problems by documenting solutions and transferring knowledge to business users.
Understanding of business intelligence tools and concepts such as BW, Business Objects, Tableau or similar
Experience with multiple social computing technologies
Microsoft Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Word Google Apps - Sites, Docs and Search
Understanding of Force.com development strategies
